Bolden: I am here in the region - its sort of the first anniversary of President Barack Obama's visit to Cairo - and his speech there when he gave what has now become known as Obama's "Cairo Initiative" where he announced that he wanted this to become a new beginning of the relationship between the United States and the Muslim world. When I became the NASA Administrator - before I became the NASA Administrator - he charged me with three things: One was that he wanted me to re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, that he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.

Methinks your POTUS has been captivated by the orientalist PHILIP K HITTI, who taught at Columbia and later at Princeton, from where he retired in 1954 as Professor of Semitic Literature and Chairman of the Department of Oriental Languages...who wrote HISTORY OF THE ARABS - 757 pages of sheer unadulterated BS in which he claims for the arabs the invention of everything on earth. Much of the content of obama’s Cairo speech reads like it came straight out of the book by Hitti.
Must have been like catnip to his muslim audience.

I suspect that is why he has this guy who got his degree in some kind of international relations in Egypt and is a Muslim at the top of his advisers. I believe the guy was brought into the Reagan administration as a low level middle east adviser. Not difficult to understand his rise up through even the Bush’s terms. The guy never did strike me as being a person of any military presence even though often shown as such. Just take a look at the history of John Brennan.
Contributions like proving one cannot live without a head, counting heads, and knowing the easiest angle to use when removing a head.
