Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) defended Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) Sunday, expressing confidence his Democratic colleague who has come under scrutiny from the Senate Ethics panel didn’t do anything wrong.

Menendez is the incoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Reid said he didn’t see any problem with Menendez serving in that role while under investigation.

Near as I can tell, Menendez done flunked ‘Human Being’.
He didn’t do anything wrong in that country.
It’s absurd that our laws are extended to other jurisdictions because a thing that is illegal here but, legal there, is a punishable offense never the less.
I absolutely don’t condone what he is alleged to have done and if he did it here he ought to be jailed ferEvuh.

Give Menendez credit, he did fulfill his role in foreign relations. That Reid cannot see the immorality in paying to have sex with a child tells you all you need to know about Dirty Harry.
Now, why am I not surprised Harry Reid considers pedophilia “nothing wrong”.... Maybe there was indeed something to that “Harry-is-a-pedophile” campaign last year. Creepy old bastard..

I think that even there, there is an “age of consent” and my guess is that menendez went there to get some pedophilia on. His supporters will be paying off a ton of young girls and their families.
Given the amount of drug trafficking and attendant police corruption that comes out of the Dominican Republic I wonder how a freakin’ eye doctor from Miami got involved with a security company that scans cargo containers from the DR port? I’m not suggesting anything untoward but in light of the slew of other allegations which have been raised concerning Menendez and his friend nothing at this point would surprise me.
