Dr. Benjamin Carson Epic Full Speech at National Prayer Breakfast Attacks Obama's

In case the link was buried and lost in previous threads, this is the Youtube video Here of Dr. Benjamin Carson's talk this morning at the congressional prayer breakfast in which he virtually destroys much of what Obama stands for, from political correctness to punishing the rich and successful to Obamacare - while Obama has to sit there and listen to the whole presentation - and the libs can't even demonize the good doctor as being racist.....

No wonder Obama wants everyone to believe that what's said at prayer breakfasts is always forgotten before the day is done.........

Dr. Carson spoke at my College one year. I forgot exactly when but it was while ObamaCare was being discussed but not introduced into legislation yet, IIRC.

It was hilarious to look at many of the faculty and students faces as he discussed why Socialized medicine will fail. The first few Q&A question were from students and faculty disagreeing with him on ObamaCare. After he politely humiliated a few those questions stopped.

It reminds me of part of a speech that Mother Teresa gave at the prayer breakfast in 1994 when Clinton was president.

Here are her words, with a link to the whole prayer:

"Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion. "

It sounded like the whole audience cheered and clapped when she said those words.

As the CSPAN camera panned over to the Clintons, they had the most disgusting looks on their faces as they so hated to hear those words.

His closing remarks about the flag reminded me of Mrs. Obama’s remarks (should I say alleged remarks) about our flag and I thought- yes, Michelle all THAT for a flag...

Oddly, Michelle (seated on the dias, to The One's right) applauded often during Dr. Carson's speech, and gave him a standing ovation at the end. Kind of perplexing to me...

I watched this elegant man’s speech. I was mostly watching Obama squirm and twist in his chair like he had a corncob shoved up his rectum. He did not smile. He appreared loathsome and angry. Dr. Carson seemed supremely self-confident in making his remarks. Obama does not deserve to be in the presence of this good man, Carson.

I agree with your comments 100%. 0dumb0 is a class-A, number 1 JERK, and it is revealed in one episode after another. If a Repub ever acted the way that 0dumb0 does, the media would be howling in derision & feigned outrage. And yet 0dumb0 gets away with it. Even Moooochelle at least responded some & applauded (first time I have complimented her on anything!).

Normally Barack Obama skips these altogether (because in reality he doesn't believe in Christianity and is more than likely a muslim), but because the key note speaker was a prominent black American, Dr Benjamin Carson, John Hopkins Hospital, Pediatric Neurosurgery Division Director, I assume that Barack Obama felt he had to condescend and attend the breakfast. Dr Benjamin Carson rose from abject poverty, poor student, to become a world renowned pediatric surgeon. He is also a staunch conservative Christian and believer in a strong work ethic.

Watch as Barack Obama sits there impassively & expressionless through the entire speech, never applauding, never acknowledging any points that Dr Carson makes. In fact, I am sure that Barack Obama is seething & squirming inside as Dr Benjamin Carson speaks of the impending destruction of our country unless we return to conservative Biblical values & principles. He really knocks political correctness as an attack against our free speech, knocks the fallacy of the progressive tax system, knocks Medicare, knocks 0bamaCare, knocks the death panels, knocks rewarding people who refuse to work, etc. I bet that this will be the last prayer breakfast that 0bama attends, unless it is conducted by a muslim iman.

“Just finished watching “Gifted Hands, The Ben Carson Story” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. on Netflix. Great family movie that highlights some of his story and achievements.”

The movie is decent, but it does not do justice to the book “Gifted Hands”.

It is an outstanding read.

Ben Carson came from absolutely nothing and managed to become the chief neurosurgeon at John Hopkins. All he had was a the talents God gave him and a single mother who demanded excellence. Ironically, she could not read.

Honestly... I hadn't seen him before. Watched the whole 27 minute youtube video. Liked him for the first 10 minutes. By the time he was done I didn't care for him so much.

So he makes a great point advocating a flat tax. I agreed 100%. Throw out all the loopholes. Everyone pays flat tax rate. Then 5 minutes later he's talking about pretax contributions to a health savings account. (pretax means loophole). He's like everyone else. And those type of inconsistencies don't work if you're a republican. Obama gets away with them because the press loves him. This guy won't get away with it.
