Dorner morphing into an anti-hero?
Hotair ^

I have, at times, been accused of being somewhat naive when it comes to modern culture, both by family members and readers alike. Perhaps you’re all on to something there, because I certainly never saw this coming. As the search continues for alleged cop killer Christopher Dorner, there is an emerging theme – at least on the West Coast – that perhaps Dorner is some sort of Robin Hood, standing up for the little guy and taking it to the corrupt LA police force.

"Support Growing For Former L.A. Officer Accused Of Killing Spree

Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.

It’s hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.

One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. “We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.”

The description on “We Are All Chris Dorner” chillingly says, “Yes, this is war.”

Well, their Hero Obama is famous for saying “they bring a knife, you bring a gun” and “voting is the best revenge”, so who is surprised?

Electing Obama is nothing more than Revenge for them. It doesn't matter how badly he screws up the Country or that he strips Citizens of their Freedoms, the fact that THEY WON and WE LOST is all that matters.

That is why they gravitate to Psychopaths, they already Elected one President.

I have a tinfoil theory that sometime mid 90s, HAARP or some CERN atom smasher experiment caused a tear in the spacetime continuum and reality split into the real one, and this reversed/upside down/Bizzaro one we find ourselves in.

I have yet to see a better explanation as to WTF happened.

The thought occurs to me that Chis Dorner may be the Left’s “Punisher” comic book anti-hero come to real life and not just a movie or comic book character.

If that is the case and he's as good as folks THINK he is, the LAPD and surrounding area could be in real trouble. There are lots of people in LA that don't regard the cops operating there with a lot of affection. Dorner is only one small fish in a large population pond. Dorner can pick and chose his targets; it is impossible to defend against that kind of attack — especially if the guy is prepared to die to carry out his plan. This is an entirely new ball game for LA law enforcement and they've been failing the test.

So if he says the police are corrupt what him makes any different when he kills family members and police officers he deems are corrupt is he not corrupt and evil himself?
He is not a hero he is a scum bag killer. He already did kill a child of a cop.

And neither are the people that are cheering this loser on.
I am sick of this woe is me mentality and as of late more and more black people seem to be using this just like the families who went to Disneyland and are suing the park because they perceived the characters to be racist because the characters snubbed their children. The world is going insane and upside down at the same time.

Honestly, it all comes back to liberal BS. People say ‘You can’t ascribe every bad thing that happens to libs.”

In many cases you can and this id a big one. People need to stop thinking about the events happening right now in an attempt to sort this out. They need to look to how these events came to be.

We have a world filled with people, stripped of a historical education by lib teachers/government policy, told they were only capable of being something through liberal ideas...by liberals, fed policies that reinforced a sense of victimhood, by liberals, to what end? Power for liberals over society.

Most minorities are not stupid, helpless or useless. They have become what many are today, and plenty of whites along with them, because they were taught to be, legislated to be, redistricted to be and employed/benefitted/EBT’d to be...

By liberals.

And until the people of America see and accept this documented fact, nothing changes. They will continue to rah rah killers/gan bangers et all. Because they were taught to.

The other thing here I should point out is obvious, but by design, a lot of people forget.

Libs use this and any number of concurent events to keep people hopping rapid fire from one emotion to the next...so they never have time to stop and think about anything very long. AKA, never let a crisis go to waste.

That’s what that phrase really means. It’s not one big thing, it’s a bunch of little/not so little ones in rapid succession. If you are the opposition, you are always on defense hopping from one fire to another trying to keep up with what crisis is happening this news cycle.

So don’t.

Fix your minds on the root of all of these myrad issues. Because they are the same one. And it does not matter if it’s a lib or a Republican spouting lib policies and calling himself a conservative.

You do realize that now our reality will be replaced by an even weirder one?

When society and the law not only allows but praises the killing of innocents (late-term abortion) then things like we are seeing in Los Angeles are to be expected.

It’s just unbelievable what now passes as normal and civilized in America. I could just start weeping.

I am shocked by some new atrocity every damned day.
WTF has happened!?

Yea, but it’s a fact of physics that if you go far enough to the left in a spherical continuum, you end up back where you started on the right. So MOAR!!!! ;)

As I said above, go back to the root of the issue.

When the GOP fronts candidates that have records of personally funding abortion, the pendulum swings left. When the political right voters support that, the pendulum swings further.

Over on the left, it’s swung nearly to full communism. And there has been nothing on the right to slow it down.

People don’t like hearing that. But it is logically and demonstratively true.

The following link is to an old FR thread, about an even older conservative booklet called “The Revolution Was”, written in 1938 about FDR and the New Deal. FDR used the theory of crisis very well. And it is ALL happening again - amazingly, chillingly so. Only worse.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2185147/posts

An Excerpt:

...It took off from a revolutionary base. The design was European. Regarded from the point of view of revolutionary technic it made perfect sense. Its meaning was revolutionary and it had no other. For what it meant to do it was from the beginning consistent in principle, resourceful, intelligent, masterly in workmanship, and it made not one mistake......

Having passed this crisis, the New Deal went on from one problem to another, taking them in the proper order, according to revolutionary technic; and if the handling of one was inconsistent with the handling of another, even to the point of nullity, that was blunder in reverse.

The effect was to keep people excited about one thing at a time, and divided, while steadily through all the uproar of outrage and confusion a certain end, held constantly in view, was pursued by main intention.

The end held constantly in view was power.

Those who forget history (or were intentionally never taught it) are doomed to repeat it. A gar wiser man than I can be credited with that.

That entire booklet is long, but a VERY interesting read. It goes by pretty fast really as it is SO similar to today. Obama even uses some of the same phrasings and words that FDR used.

As a young child I always wondered why my old man (WWII vet) hated FDR so much. Once I was older I figured it out.
