Why Did McCain Rescue Hagel?
The American Spectator ^ | 2.17.13 | Aaron Goldstein

Why on earth did John McCain just rescue Chuck Hagel’s nomination?

Why did he go on Meet the Press this morning to say that Chuck Hagel was going to get confirmed as Secretary of Defense?

McCain argued that Hagel had the votes to be confirmed and that he didn’t want the process to be delayed further.

Perhaps saying that was just the price to get himself on Meet the Press.

John McCain was twisted long ago, by his peers at USNA. He was despised, and deeply ridiculed for being a “lessor” man. Regardless of being in the bottom of his class, he still became fighter pilot. Family connections? No doubt. John McCain’s resentment of US; runs deep, long and continuously.

McCain LONG ago cashed in his POW status but the only problem is, McCain is the last one to see this.
I truly believe this guy thinks the country owes him something and that BECAUSE OF his prior service and status, he is somehow above us.

He is not. He is no different now than of his previous captors in the way he behaves to our liberties; minus a slight degree of separation of course. His hour is past and he SHOULD have stepped down a very long time ago and enjoyed his own freedom instead of raping ours by constantly working with his "friends", the commies, "across the isle".

I think McCain resents that Ted Cruz is getting attention and he has to show him who’s boss!

and McCain responded to it by suspending his campaign and asking for all the debates to be canceled. That was the same day GW Bush decided to give a speech to the country saying that if we didn’t pass TARP Armageddon would be upon us.

I dunno about that. I think soros is a lively gambler (ala buffet style) but not so much a nuisance that he is a problem to too many countries. He did a number on England not too far back and they did nothing to him. As much as people want to call Obama a puppet of soros, I think soros is just a puppet himself.
Sorry to say, but the "left" has one thing right, crash the banks, all of them. The one thing they DO NOT have right is re-structuring into ANYTHING central. The smaller the entities, the less any "one" can control..That whole individual thing...

Will McCain finally retire in 3 years or will he seek re-election in 2016?

Why Did McCain Rescue Hagel?

That's not a serious question. Must be rhetorical.

Oh...I'm not your friend. And I do understand sarcasm.

I shy from much detection with NEWBY'S though.....

Mock all you want...and I'm right there.

But post like you did...and I'm going to call you a NEWB.

That's the way it works...

Been that way from the beginning....

“Will McCain finally retire in 3 years or will he seek re-election in 2016?”

I hate to tell you all this, but McCain’s mother just turned 101 years old. Bad sign for us. It’s in the genes.

I still contend that McCain is a brainwashed communist and doesn’t even realize it.

He should never have been elected to public office after he was relased from the communist prison.

You may think Soros is himself a puppet but there is no doubt that McCain is Soros' puppet.

Here we go with this again. I have been here longer than you. Since at least 1997 or 1998. My other id was lost.

Because John McCain lives most of his life inside the Beltway. When you live your life in a sheltered existence where most of the people around you are telling you that selling out the GOP and conservative voters is the essence of independence and principle, after a while any real principles you have vanish. Just ask John Roberts.

I’m guessing that the next candidate selection would have been even worse. Isn’t that the way comrade obama works?

I think he was speaking AS McCain by his use of ‘my friend, my friend” which is what Mccain always says.
