Let's scrap socialism, reduce the size of government and grow ourselves out of debt. It makes far more sense to exploit the resources in Alaska than to sell it so someone who whould do exactly what the socialist government prevents us from doing.

How about giving back all federal lands to states and allowing states do what their citizens decide with their lands?

Alaska is crippled with federal intervention. Bureaucrats sitting in DC have no clue to what is happening in Western MD or VA, let alone what the real situation is in AK.
