Appearing on CNN Wednesday, the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward said a “very senior person” at the White House warned him that he would “regret doing this,” referring to his outspoken criticism of President Barack Obama’s handling of the impending forced cuts known as the sequester.
“I think they’re confused,” Woodward told CNN host Wolf Blitzer. Woodward apparently went on to criticize Obama further over the sequester the same day he received the warning from the White House.
“It makes me very uncomfortable for the White House to be telling reporters, you are going to ‘regret’ doing something that you believe in,” he added. “It’s Mickey Mouse.”
CNN invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the offer was declined,

Yeah, I don’t get the “Mickey Mouse” metaphor. “Cat and mouse” - mean old catty Obama chasing poor little mousy Bob Woodward makes sense — the only thing I can get out of “Mickey Mouse” is that Walt Disney was the voice of Mickey Mouse.
So, is this what Obama wanted Bob Woodward to say?
Hmm...actually I have heard “Mickey Mouse” used to describe a tiny little country, or such...something like Luxembourg or so...a “Mickey Mouse power.” I suppose the metaphor is the same - the Mickey Mouse power is someone else’s puppet.

What is it that Obama using Woodward to distract us from?
It means “petty”.
Was it a phone call or an email. Does he have proof?
We all remember when the Obama-loving White House press corps dropped any partisan loyalty to rally around Fox News when Jarrett and Dunn tried to cut off access claiming they weren’t a real news outlet. That was when Major Garret was asking too many questions about the missing LFBC, IIRC.
Maybe the entire news media establishment will rally around Bob Woodward. I can always hope!
Woodward stuck his neck out in his book before the election blaming Barry not Boehner for the collapse of the “Grand Bargain” talks. And now Woodward is correctly blaming Barry for dreaming up the sequester and then lying about it and saying the GOP did it.
I need more information.
For the record... it’s extremely impossible whether to verify that she actually said that.
