Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison exploded during a live interview with Sean Hannity on Tuesday, calling the Fox News host the "worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen" and a "shill for the Republican Party."

The Minnesota congressman was on the program to discuss President Barack Obama's remarks on the sequester when he launched into a tirade aimed at Hannity, who had said "The president is more concerned with fearmongering than finding a solution to the problem he created."

Hannity is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he’s not the racist anti-American muslim who holds a seat in congress.

That is quite true. Hannity isn't the enemy here, but he's too easy to fillibuster. I'd like to see this steaming pile Ellison try this with the likes of Michael Savage. He'd be walking funny afterwords.

Ellison and others like him are what we get when we create minority congressional districts by gerrymandering. Others like him are Waters, Lee and the dumba$$ that said that if we moved to many troops and equipment to Guam, the island would tip over. Ellison is a mirror image of his constituents. They all are.

I can’t stand Hannity. But in his defense, he has always pointed out that he is NOT a journalist.

With that said, Ellison could have made a better point if had said “Sean, having me as your guest proves just how stupid you are.”
