The first order of business must be to get a budget. We have not had in four years... the continuing resolutions have allowed Obama to fund his agenda WITHOUT OVERSIGHT. This must end! The House must assert its authority over the purse by demanding a budget from the administration and remain resolved to limit the CRs to 2 months at a time until it is done.

If you've noticed, oboma has done everything in his power (and used every financial resource available to him) to fund and strengthen the radical muslims in the middle east, but at the same has also done everything in his power to disarm and impoverish the people in the United States.

He's making Americas enemies stronger, and America weaker. If you can hold the line on anything in the circumstances the GOP has been in you are doing well. And that is pretty much all the GOP has been able to do up to now. That's the reality when you hold only one branch of Congress and have a full-court liberal press which has been successful in duping the public and splitting the right.

Not just holding but advancing is another story. If your opponent begins to lose his magic over the dim-wit populace because he's cried "wolf" too many times you may actually be able to win a few. I don't expect that we can win all, but suspect we will start to win some going forward.

I think the WH is scared, because if the sequester results is a big goose egg of public concern, the Republicans are going to be fortified for the next round, which is raising the debt ceiling. Or not.

The trouble with government cutting back is that it is now so hopelessly overextended, using far more resources than it should, that there can be one heck of a lot of cutting back before it even digs through the fat to get to the muscle.

So the bottom line is “What happens if the debt ceiling *isn’t* raised?”
