We’re expecting another two days of snow starting tomorrow night.

Spring isn’t here but Dailight Savings Time starts this weekend when it is rumored that the sun will appear for the first time in ages.

Good morning, Kathy!

*HUGS*

How are you doing this morning?

We have about an inch of snow on the ground here and all the schools and government offices are closed. I'll be hitting the road soon to go to work. Traffic should be light.

WELCOME TO THE

(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

Now for our local DC Metroland weather report

~ Today... Snow

~ Tonight... Snow

LOL. Seriously, snow and cold (not frigid though).

Son in Manassas just texted that they have about 5 inches
and it's snowing hard.

Gives me a chance to wear my snow suit...hehe.

You See the World Through Blue Colored Glasses
You live your life with tranquility. You have faith that things will work themselves out with time.
You judge all your interactions through the lens of hope. You try to get all the facts before forming your opinion.

You face challenges with wisdom. You know that all bad things pass, and you have the confidence to see problems through.
You see love as the utmost expression of trust. Your relationships tend to be peaceful and stable.

At your worst, you can be cool, melancholy, and detached. You sometimes have to step back from emotionally charged situations.
You are at your happiest when you are able to reflect and relax.
What Color Glasses Do You See the World Through?

Woke up to white lawn and everything in the area closed.
Even though the roads look great so far,
and not much snow in DC, everyone is trying to be pro-active
as the predictions are still 3-6 around the homestead (south of DC)
and 6-9 DC and north & west more.

Crazy thing is that tomorrow it'll be in the low 50s.

So, today I'll be keeping the home fires going
and writing and doing computer time.

Right now, I need to make my rounds and fix some breakfast.

But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.

The Canteen is

O P E N

Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM

DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

Yum! Fresh fish!

I've been catching quite a few crappie lately. We have been eating fresh fish at least once a week.

Good morning dear ((HUGS))

Please tell me that your temps will be warmer as the day goes along!

We’re going to be in the 50s by the weekend and most of next week. Just hoping it stays that way.

LOL, our local news has “snowquestration” as their banner this morning. hehe

Woo-Hoo, Happy Humpday Beachie!!

You got snow, we have rain, at least we don't have to shovel the rain :-)

Not much happening, spring sports are around the corner which means the nicer weather is coming soon, crocuses and daffs are poking their buds out of the ground.

Me thinks me need a coffee IV...

Hope your day is supercilious!
