Jeb Bush is back in the spotlight — and thinking about 2016
The Washington Post ^ | March 5, 2013 | Peter Wallsten and David Nakamura,

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, who has remained on the sidelines since his older brother left the White House with dismal ratings four years ago, has jumped back into the political fray this week with a new book, wall-to-wall television interviews and a round of public speaking engagements.

His appearances mark a change in approach for Bush, 60, who has operated as more of a Republican elder statesman since leaving Tallahassee in 2007 but is now clearly considering a run for the White House.

There should be only one conservative at a time running against a moderate in the primaries. We've seen the conservative vote split too many times before the nomination.

If the GOP nominates this gigantic turd to be the nominee I have no words..this guy makes Romney look like a decent candidate..whenever I look at Jeb Bush all I see is the face of Terri Schiavo, who he helped murder..he is despicable

Jeb Bush is from Florida which is unfortunate because I’m only supporting candidates from Alaska.

Really? jeb bush? I realize this is just him refusing to rule out a run at this point, but really?

Has the gop so totally lost it’s tenuous grasp on reality? Do they WANT to lose another presidential election? Are they admitting defeat even before the current global disaster is removed?

If jeb bush gets anything more than a terse NO THANK YOU from the gop establishment, then they are surrendering in the face of the most overwhelming landslide opportunity they will ever live to see.

Well, he’d make a much better Democratic candidate than anyone they’ve claimed (so far) might win their 2016 nomination

He shouldn't. He'll be gone before the race is even lukewarm.

There has been enough, perhaps to much, influence from the Bush aristocracy on the course of the USA.

I must have said that 1000 times during the last primaries.
Sometimes I wonder if conservatives have too much ego to unite behind one.
