DENVER - Two Littleton men say Colorado lawmakers over-stepped their bounds when they approved a ban on high capacity gun magazines.
Now, Tim LeVier and J.T. Davis are trying to put the issue to a vote of the people.

Not sure if it's him, though.
Just thought I'd send a heads up to other Colorado FRiends.
PING!
If House Bill 1224 becomes law, anyone who currently possesses a magazine that holds more than 15 rounds is able to keep it, though if they transfer or sell the magazine, ...
In essence that means 15+ magazines will be around forever. No matter how many I accumulate in the future all of them will go through my time machine and come out grandfathered. If I transfer or sell them the buyer will put them through his time machine.
I would have put up a vote for a law that anti-constitutional supporters either go to prison or N Korea, their choice.
By all right, they should.
A clear violation of their oaths of office.
I agree completely. Just stating my originalist view but I have no problem doing the same to them as they do to us.
A friend of mine suggested for the U.S. Congress that it should be the law that any congresscritter who proposes an un-Constitutional law should be immediately removed from congress, fined and possibly imprisoned. Just think, McCain would have been gone long before he ran in ‘08.
Or...
Tattoo the word, “Traitor,” on their thick foreheads.
That works! Branding has always been a popular marking method in the west though.
I REALLY like that idea!
This was another case of writing liberal legislation, with no thought about implementation or enforcement.
Existing magazines would be grandfathered.
Magazines aren’t serial numbered.
It would only affect future sales.
80% of LEO’s wouldn’t investigate.
95% of DA’s wouldn’t bother trying to prosecute.
It does open the door for current owners to be harassed and having property confiscated, while they have to prove their innocence.
I guess I hang out with radicals.
It would only affect future in-state sales.
80% of LEOs wouldnt investigate.
95% of DAs wouldnt bother trying to prosecute.
Because it would be useless to try to determine how long someone
owned a magazine and it would be perfectly legal to use them
as long as you claimed them to be grandfathered.
My right to bear arms is not up to my neighbor to decide.
It isn’t up for discussion of any sort at all.
YA THINK?
Resist the bastards on every available legal front.
They dont know it, but its for their benefit.
OK. I don’t see the connection to my post.
My right to bear arms is not up to my neighbor to decide. It isnt up for discussion of any sort at all.
Amen! I'd very much like to see the leftist extremists slapped back; I also fail to see how rights would still be rights if they can be voted up or down any time a bunch of communists come up with enough money and friends and publicity to cook up a fake burning issue. Even if the sheep succeed in outvoting the wolves on the issue of dinner, are we sure we believe that's a topic for endless discussion, debate, and revoting? Maybe instead of revoting, we need to revolt.
