OK then, case closed. More people croak from soda pop than from guns.

A sugary drink never killed anyone, period.
This study is crap.

If something comes out of one of the Harvard Hard Science or Engineering schools - better believe it.
As for their Law, Business, and Health schools - better put on your bull Obama hat.

Given enough grant money, researchers can link anything to anything else.
It is all in the technique — and the amount of money they get.

I thought it was the sugar from gun shaped Pop Tarts that are the biggest killers.

I really doubt these idiots “tied” anything to drinking soda.
If they ever release their data and methods I doubt they even have a correlation let alone a causation.
To: Sub-Driver
The study adds to mounting evidence that sugar-sweetened beverages, loaded with calories that carry little nutritional value, are a public health hazard. If this is the rationale for banning food or drink, what's next?
Pies, cakes, Twinkies, chips, pretzels, crackers, cookies, candy, alcoholic beverages, sweet tea, sweet coffee, yada, yada, yada. None of those have nutritional value.
Why just sugary soda or is this just the camel's nose under the tent?

So, 1 out of 12,000 of us die from sugary drinks every year. Even if true and accurate, that’s almost a non-existent rate.

Well, are they assault sodas?Bloomberg think so. The question remains, do people have the right to abuse their bodies?
