You should take a break from internet discussions if you have to revert to such nastiness. Seriously.

I don’t care about the Libertarian platform. I’m a libertarian. Can you grasp the difference?

The saddest tactic of all that libertarians use against America, is that the right wing social conservatives who created America and had their representatives writing up the paper work, were creating a land of homosexuals in the military and abortion, and polygamy, and everything else.

It just took the left and libertarians to discover all that in the 1960s and start making it all part of our culture.

Your belief that libertarians are pushing a pro-homo agenda is truly bizarre. A limited libertarian government and no government sanction of the homosexual agenda would mean that the whole movement would peter out and shrivel right down to the root.

Children would still be protected the same way they are now. But there would also be the vastly greater benefit that parents could take back the responsibility and authority for the welfare of their children instead of constantly looking over their shoulders for the commissar or other apparatchik, as is happening more and more today.

Actually the point is moot. There has never been, nor will there ever be a major libertarian candidate elected that could ever have any influence in our nation. All that you fear has been ongoing with not one iota of influence from libertarians. The last libertarian presidential candidate did not get one percent of the vote. Your phobia of libertarians is like being scared of haints.

That’s exactly right. I heard David Boaz—VP of the libertarian Cato Institute—and, an active homosexual... defend the Boy Scouts on this issue as a private organization that can do anything they want.

Problem for the scouts is that the sodomy mafia are NOT libertarian, rather they are FASCISTS—that love big government and big business (which are natural partners of corruption) due to the power over people they can weild. Unfortunately for America the Democrats who aren’t outright communists, are fascists...even if they don’t know it, as those two ideologies are brothers. Far to many RINOs are ignorantly fascists too...

God help those working for virtually any Fortune 500 company today who are vocal opponents of the homosexual agenda. You can lose your job very fast there. Worse for them than even government workers. All due to the perverted—even demonic—homosexual agenda.

You choose to be a libertarian and to fight on their team against conservatism, your minor differences with them doesn't make much difference since your political participation is to promote their agenda against us.

I agree. It seems to be a condition of pure self centeredness.

It strikes me as an obsessive behavior. I do not believe people are born this way, I believe it is a mental illness, and I’d just as soon not have young people exposed to it.

I also believe they are recruiting and actively promoting this lifestyle, and I find this abhorrent.

I know that I’m not ever going to support this lifestyle, and no amount of name calling or insults is going to change that.

I am of the old school on this issue, and the new school can go to Hell.

Libertarians are a very effective and aggressive part of that homosexual agenda, for instance even libertarians who align with republicans are fighting internally against the conservative anti-homosexuals.

Unfortunately, many libertarians support the “privatization” of marriage—which they seem bizarrly ignorant is a contradiction of terms.

Marriage is, and always has been in every society on earth, a PUBLICLY acknowledge union between a man and a woman. Even if we returned to a constitutional republic—with (small) governant as they had pre-Civil War (minus slavery) wills, custody, divorce, property law—all depend on a common, legally enforcible, universally accepted definition of marriage.

Saying marriages should just be done religiously, and the “state should get out of the marriage business” as libertarians argue—just doesn’t come to grips with legal realities.

Of course in our current-day socialistic government-is-nanny and involved everywhere in our lives (benefits, tax regulations, healthcare, etc. etc.) increase the necessity of a common definition of marriage ten-fold. The libertarians I’ve heard, wanting to just “privatize” marriage... just don’t seem to grapple with the real world in this....

Marriage is, everywhere and at all times...a PUBLICLY acknowledged institution by definition. This is what makes the homosexual “marriage” issue so important.

Will sodomy be favored over the free exercise of religion? Time will tell.

LOL, you guys. Libertarians are fighting conservatives to accept homosexuality and to not oppose it, libertarians oppose homosexuals in the military? no they don't, libertarians support our efforts to protect marriage and fight the homosexual agenda? no they don't.

Libertarians support efforts to protect children from being used in sex? no they don't ""The party refused to vote on a resolution asking states to strongly enforce existing child porn laws."".

I notice that you used the same argument that libertarians use to open the borders, fire INS and the Border Patrol, and end limits on immigration from the entire world. You said that in a utopia of "A limited libertarian government and no government sanction of the homosexual agenda" the issue would be moot, which it wouldn't of course, but you change the nations' government FIRST, THEN we will talk about ending the fight against gays in the military and marrying and adopting.

Put it this way: if you are a parent, would you leave your 9 or 10 year old boy in the care of a male homosexual, overnight or even for 10 minutes? If your answer is yes, you are unfit to be a parent. Even posing this question is absurd.

where did I say libertarians wanted government intervention?

I specifically said that some libertarians want to end the age of consent and call incest laws unconstitutional.

If a self-described libertarian does NOT agree with a lot of the LP platform, why call themselves libertarians?

For me it is the core principle of non-initiation of force. Additionally, I embrace the libertarian concept of limited government to assure economic and political freedom. Libertarians have a guiding belief that individual liberty and private property is an innate right and The Bill of Rights cannot be denied or abridged in any way. All other political movements have been or are willing to abrogate rights to give advantage for each latest cause du jour.

The Libertarian Party long ago corrupted reasoned libertarian positions to advance personal agendas of members of the Libertarian National Committee.

A vastly larger number of Republicans do also, so why harp on libertarians?
