Hello Freepers! If any of you get polled on whether Joe should run for President, say as enthusiastically as possible, YES!
We need Joe on the 2016 Democrat ticket. Go Joe!
quietly won five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Biden is worse than Willard...
Willard only got himself 4 deferments...
Yeah, like the Rats are going to nominate an Old White Man....
Joe doesn't have a chance, not because the rat voters would reject him as being, just too damn'd dumb but because the Hillarybeast will squash him like a little bug.
ONE thing is certain... if Joe wanted to get the GOP nomination, he is JUST smarmy and cheesy enough to get it!
THAT way he’d have a chance in 2016!
The 800 lb gorilla in the room is that NOBODY in the media even dares to say a word about “What about Joe?” When all these 2016 Democrat Potentials like “Hillary”, “Napolitano”, whomever are mentioned with a straight face.
Poor dumb ole “Plugs”.....clueless, still thinking he’s gonna get the nod. They aren’t going to throw him under the bus; they’re gonna keep him in it - the short yellow one.
After what happened in 2008 and again in 2012, I'm not at all sure. As a society, I think we may have already made the transition from democracy to idiocracy.
I used to think that 50% of Americans had at least some amount of common sense. Now I think it's fallen to about 48%.
Barack is a pioneer.
Before Barack, every American kid grew up with the thought that even he, or she, could someday become president of the USA.
Now, Barack has shown it’s possible that any kid in the world could someday become president of the USA.

The DuPont family of Delaware will be losing their Washington, D.C., influence once Joe Biden steps down as VP. He has been in their pocket, since he first ran for the Senate, in the 70’s. The folks at Dover AFB, will not miss him. The Amish in the state, will surely not miss him. Only all those low information voters that exist in the Greater Wilmington Metropolitan Area will miss him!
Obama’s sinful and disgraceful evil regime has shown young people that they don’t want to follow the example of this phony devil.
Biden will be an afterthought. The Hildebeast has a lock on the Presidency after Obama.
THAT attitude and behavior will guarantee a clear path to wholesale public acclaim and possible nomination!
Where's the evidence of that? Young voters are foursquare behind Obama.
Biden plus many others slid by. It was not what you knew but who you knew if you wanted to avoid the draft during RVN or even if drafted if one knew a Colonel or above he could keep his son out of RVN and get him sent to Germany in the 60’s. I can state my father helped a DR.’s son get to Germany. He was a two year draftee with a US serial number.I never asked my father for a damn thing as I had issues with him. I did ask a neighbor, another Colonel, to get my basic training changed to another place. I asked only because I did not want to be around negative influences I knew. That is the one thing I always try to get across to young men. Get away from negative influences. They are not your friends.
I can only speak of my family.
Fortunately all our children, their spouses and my grandchildren are Conservatives. Proper education, good genes and a fondness for history has helped.
"Joe's not white. Joe's clear."
(adapted from a line spoken by Bill Murray to Michael Jordan in "Space Jam", about Larry Bird).
That's what was being said when she was in the primaries against an unknown, unacomplished, not very intelligent senator from Illinois.
I heard on the radio about three weeks ago that the two issues most important to young voters are gay rights and same sex marriage. Well, I am just an old country boy, not very up on pop culture, in fact, not up at all as far as pop culture goes. But to me, if that is true, our future as a Republic is very dim.
I agree on everything except "unknown." Remember Obama's keynote speech to the DNC in 2004? From then on, the dems were touting him as the next big thing. The only thing that stopped Hillary in her tracks was America wanted what it perceived as an oh-so-cool black rock star in the White House. No such repeat of that scenario is on the horizon next time around, unless a hispanic like San Antonio's mayor Julian Castro steps forward to challenge her, which I doubt. He'll probably end up being her running mate.
