I think the RIAA should charge you for singing songs in the shower. Unless they are your own originals, of course.
Dems never met a tax they didn’t like.
I’m sure all the businesses in the country would be looking forward to this.
Just imagine, if we could tax liberal ignorance we would balance the budget in less than a year.
“Berkeley” that explains it all ...
Remember - we don’t have a spending problem.
Steve Wozniak. Gordon Wozniak. One helped usher in the personal computer age. The other intends to destroy it.
By whose metrics will this be counted? Will it be for bits received, bits sent, or both? What about unwanted email like spam? What about senders outside of California? What about email users with California-based email servers who don’t live in California?
This is the most inane, ridiculous plan I’ve ever read. I’m really stretching by calling it a plan to begin with.
Of course, the tax excludes the politicians who support it!!
God help us that one of them doesn’t decide to tax farting . . . . . . . . . . . !!

It is up the taxpayer to prove that he does not owe the tax.
Balance nothing, we’d be we’ll on our way to wiping out the debt too!!!
they’ll want to tax the air I breathe next simply because at one time or another the wind blew it over Cailfornia.
Gordon should be taken out back behind the building and summarily shot forthwith.
Where do these f*****g politicians get their brain farts from?
LOL
We could solve the debt on Obamas ignorance alone.
Along with a number of others.
California is being driven right down to Hell (most of the damage coming from the insane politicians and their super-high taxes and restrictive regulations driving up the cost of living, or just rudimentary survival... and driving business and investment ... and thus jobs ... OUT as fast as they possibly can leave).
And the roads have potholes big enough to swallow your average Prius, or 3 stupid little “SmartCars.”
And most of the schools suck, too.
A real shame. California was once-upon-a-time a good place to live.
