Shark Tank ^ | 3/27/13 | JAVIER MANJARRES

Posted on 03/28/2013 12:55:37 PM PDT by SoFloFreeper

You gotta hand it to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for always being so optimistic about how the Democratic Party will one day rule the world. Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz tweeted that @BGTX Congrats on #GameOnFortWorth! Only a matter of time and hard work until #TX is #blue! #countdowntoblue #teameffort.”

And the RINOs will keep telling us not to worry as we drive over the amnesty cliff.

“Demographics are not in the GOP’s favor.”

No, they’re not. In a couple generations, people who appreciate the United States will easily be outnumbered. Then what? Liberal progressives are on track to ruin the country the way they ruined most major cities.

Texas will turn blue. California was solidly Republican just a couple generations ago, and gave us both Nixon and Reagan as Presidents. Then California’s people changed from predominantly whites who vote Republican, to a land of minority immigrants who vote overwhelmingly Democrat. The same is slowly but surely happening in Texas. This was the Democrat plan regarding Third World immigration — If you can’t change the way people vote, then change the people. Demographics are destiny, and Texas’ (and America’s) destiny is unfortunately toward big government statism.

Good post.

I remember visiting California (from Ohio) back in the early 70s and being so impressed with it. Cali truly is a bellwether for culture for the rest of the US.

The progressive takeover there certainly foreshadows what is happening throughout the US at various rates.

The WSJ had a story the week on how Colo, Nev, Virginia, etc went blue in a 20 yr timespan.

She doesn’t understand TX is not Republican; it is conservative. Big difference. Just keep the border crashers from Mexico and other states informed they have to vote R or leave.

You’re presupposing that those leaving California are liberals. Why flee Mecca?

This argument also assumes Anglos will vote blue. It ignores the continuing racial political divide. If you think Anglos will settle in for permanent “minority rule” it’s a mistake. Just look at housing patterns and the way blue voters run for the safety of conservative housing, school and business areas. That’s reality and that’s not going to change.

“As a Texan, I believe there is a possibility that TX will turn blue in the next few years.”

As a fellow Texan, I agree. Progressives are coming to this state from all over to get away from the state they have ruined.

DUmmy Shultz. Texas going Drat? Romney out performed McCain's results by 4% in Texas not even 5 full months ago.

The last two Texas presidential election results:

2012 Romney 57.2% Obama 41.4% Romney + 15.8%

2008 McCain 55.5% Obama 43.7% McCain +11.8%

Texas is not going Dem anytime soon.

Look at California - it went Republican in every presidential election from 1968 to 1988. Reagan beat Mondale 57% to 41%. Now look what has happened to this pathetic basket case of a state. The Democrats are good at long term politics, so people in Texas should be on guard and don’t take anything for granted.

Texas is no California. Those people also changed to bigger libs beside the huge influx of illegal aliens voting illegally.

Texas will be much harder to flip for the DUmbs.

The Democrats are good at long term politics, so people in Texas should be on guard and don’t take anything for granted.

Yeah, we all better get with the program.

“This is psychological wargames, pure and simple”

If the Republicans agree to amnesty, she will be correct.
