Saudi Arabia declares destruction of all churches in region
Christian Telegraph ^ | 4/4/13 | staff

Posted on 04/04/2013 5:06:11 PM PDT by Nachum

Earlier this month news reports surfaced out of Saudi Arabia that raised the red flag for Christians, reports MNN.

Todd Nettleton, a spokesman for the Voice of the Martyrs USA, says, "The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia--the top Islamic official in the country of Saudi Arabia--has declared that it is "necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.'" Nettleton goes on to note that the report hasn't surfaced anywhere except on the Council on Foreign Relations Web site, which was then picked up by The Atlantic.

Ranked second on the Open Doors World Watch List (a compilation of the 50 countries where persecution of Christians is the most severe), the news is not really a surprise. There is no provision for religious freedom in the constitution of this Islamic kingdom.

All citizens must adhere to Islam, and conversion to another religion is punishable by death. Public Christian worship is forbidden; worshipers risk imprisonment, lashing, deportation, and torture. Evangelizing Muslims and distributing non-Islamic materials is illegal. Muslims who convert to Christianity risk honor killings and foreign Christian workers have been exposed to abuse from employers.

Saudi Arabia is Muslim, and is the fount of Whabbism which is the foundation of Al Qaeda. It all leads back to Mecca. The only good thing about Islam is their predilection for killing each other. Other than that, its just a simple lying death cult that preys on the bottom half of the bell curve.

Amen.

May they God of Abraham, the God of Jacob, watch over you and protect you.

If I could afford it, I’d get kerans to use for kindling and toilet paper.

What logic? Sheikh Adnan al-Arour, a pro-anti-Western jihadist is heavily featured on Saudi TV. They have no concerns about the US, only what the US can do for them. Unfortunately our leaders refuse to call their bluffs.

Not much difference when Christianity has been purged. First thing the brass ask for when rolling off the plane onto the Air Bases are Bibles and Crosses/Crucifixes. Who cares and with a Saudi version of Khomeini ruling the country, we can shut them up quicker. Saudi is a terrible ally anyway that coerces the US from implementing weaker strategies.

Saudi Arabia is host to the two Muslim holy places. A war with an Islamist-ruled Saudi Arabia is a war with all of Islam. Al Qaeda has been run on a shoestring, with a budget estimated in the tens of millions of dollars. Imagine an al Qaeda funded by the ummah, with tens of billions per year at its disposal. The implications are staggering.

To who? A total war with Islam would be a welcome change to dying by a thousand cuts which is happening today. I would love to destroy Islam's COG and then ask, "Where is your mighty Allah now that Mecca is gone". How will they answer, by throwing oil at us? lol. Pakistan's nukes are in piss-poor condition and their range is weak.

Russia would be a problem as well as China, but diplomatic concessions would be worth the cause.

Silly me.

I thought I had enough of a reputation that the < / sarc > flag wasn’t necessary.

I have come around to the thinking, that not only should we have let Saddam have Kuwait, we should have let him have Saudi Arabia, as well.

Iran is going to take out Saudi Arabia .

You may have missed the main point Zhang-Fei was making.
Which is would you rather have the Saudi royal family running S.A. or would you prefer Iran style Mullah’s in charge there?

I do not think he implied S.A. is perfect.

Bush hit the wrong country. The Saudis owe the US reparations. You can just guess if those Saudi terrorists had struck China or Russia.

I'm going on record that Saudis use blood money that buys off our leaders to look the other way. I believe Republicans and Democrats are corrupted by them. The Bushes appear to have catered to the Saudis. We pulled their asses out of the oven by stopping Saddam from taking the kingdoms of Saud and Kuwait. They give us 911. Clinton is well on his way of collecting a billion in payoffs. Before we can contain Islam, we will have to bring corruption under control at home. The direction we are headed seems to point that our leaders are increasingly abandoning the common man.

I would have liked to see what Saddam would have done with the Ummah.

If he weren't on TV, he'd be plotting against the royals. Again, there's this erroneous idea that Muslim leaders dictate what their subjects believe. Muslims already know what they believe - they don't need the Saudi royals telling them what to believe. It's just that they take exception to deviations from orthodoxy, and similar religious deviations are the reason why Iran's Peacock Throne is a historical footnote rather than a place where the Iranian monarch hears daily progress reports from his appointed governors across the Iranian kingdom.

>>>I’d say the only decent ruler was the Shah of Iran, and he was rewarded for his Enlightened despotism by being thrown to the wolves by Carter.<<<

Don’t you think “decent ruler” and “being thrown” doesn’t look logical in a same sentence?

>>>The rulers are the moderates. The Wahhabis who form the vast majority of Saudi Arabia’s population aren’t protected by the Saudi government - they tolerate the government as long as it adheres to Wahhabism.<<<

Does it make any difference if rulers are moderates? Their nation surely aren’t.

You can’t await any different in a country where they have executioners as a guests on TV talk shows and people calling to ask does it bring him special pleasure to behead a woman or offering new methods of torture.

The amusing thing is that the neocon interpretation of Middle Eastern affairs is not all that different from the liberal one - the view is that the people are the salt of the earth and the rulers are scum who should be toppled. The traditional conservative view is that the people of the Middle East are scum and the only thing holding these evil troglodytes back is their rulers, who try to curb the worst excesses in order to avoid having to engage in continuous war until the end of time.

True statement. The only thing that part of the world has to offer is oil. That is the only reason they are not eating sand. They have nothing else and as long as they maintain their medieval psychology, they never will.

If the advanced world can break free from their grip on energy, we can just leave them to their own devices and let them kill each other as they choose to do so.

Perhaps that is why to autocrats in the Gulf are funding the environmental extremists in the West in trying to stop hydraulic fracking.

It could be a nice idea but Iran has no balls to do it. Saddam tried to eradicate wahhabis, where is he now? And Ahmanidejad is not even in a class of Saddam.

Link is found in any Bible
Isaiah 21

God is going to use Elam (That is Iran) to be a rod of judgement on Saudi Arabia .

The Iranians hate the Saudis and have already threatened to destroy them.

Do you know what the difference between Saddam and Ahmadinejad is ? One of them amassed a few weapons of mass destruction when America had a real American sitting in the White House , the other one is about to get a bomb when we have an imposter having parties and playing golf.
Isaiah chapter 21 - you should give it a read and realize that Elam means Iran.
