The thrills that other people seek don't really hold much appeal for you. Bungee jumping? Skydiving? No thanks!
You prefer to stay with what's tried and true. There's a reason why you love your old favorites so much.

And while you aren't typically adventurous, you're probably adventurous in ways that go unnoticed.
Maybe you read voraciously - or watch a lot of independent films. You get your thrills in a more peaceful, sustainable way.

Am I adventurous?

Not anymore. I had 20 years of adventure.

Today has been the pits, and doesn’t look to get any better.

The compute function of our payroll has not worked since I tried late afternoon yesterday....and still not all day today. This is big trouble. We cannot check the input and we print checks tomorrow. They just said they are still working on the problem, but it looks like smaller batches (a max of 8 can be entered) seem to be working. Terrific...we have over a 1000 to compute. Tonight will not have any homework, but we can’t check all in the morning. Wednesday will be chaos!

IN MEMORIAM
OFFICERS AND CREW OF USS THRESHER SSN-593

Lost At Sea 10Apr1963 With 129 Men Aboard

I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

"Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar. As the Will of God is in Heaven, even so let it be."

Rest in Peace, fallen brothers, rest in peace!
We who remain hold you in high honor.
Rest, fallen brothers, in this sacred precinct;
We who remain keep this place sacred.
Rest, fallen brothers, among these, your comrades;
We who remain keep the watch.
Rest, fallen brothers, amid these who heeded the Nation’s call;
We who remain press the fight forward in your name.
Rest, fallen brothers, lay down thy burden;
We who remain have taken up the torch.
Rest in Peace, fallen brothers, rest in eternal peace!

~ You Are Extremely Adventurous ~

You are adventurous to the point of being reckless. You need to keep your adrenaline pumping. You have a playful approach to life, and you get a lot of joy from taking risks. You like to life in the moment.

Like most adventurous people, you get bored easily whenever you are between thrills. Try to find adventure in everyday life. Eat a new meal or make a new friend. That will hold you over until your next big fun experience

~ Hmmm, Well Now ~

Wrist still giving problems but doc sez the cast will be off in a few days.

Some of my adventures:

Rode my Bike through a (small) tornado.
Flew a WW1-era biplane over the Florida Keys.
Flew in a helicopter over an erupting volcano to get a photo shoot.
Climbed down a waterfall(Hawaii)
Climbed UP a waterfall(Jamaica)
Rode a mule up the Sierra Madre (Mexico)
White water rafted Cat4 in Colorado
Piloted a MASH helicopter
Flew an antique Navy Texas T6 Aircraft
Rode the Hana Rd on a Sporster(Maui) (Look it up...)
Took pictures as I slid down the emergency ramp of a “disabled’ 757

And that’s just the stuff I remember! LOL!
