"..A common quibble laid at the feet of the creationist is that he/she is not qualified to speak about scientific matters relating to the creation/evolution controversy..."
(Excerpt) Read more at apologeticspress.org ...
“...and that all species descended ...”
“species” is not mentioned in bible
.
Theistic evolutionist.
doesn’t work
worst of BOTH worlds
“..Yes, I reject the idiotic argument you presented..”
I reject your logic, because it is biased.
and there you have it.
Thanks for trying, anyway
I’m happy that you accept the simple fact and agree that macro evolution has and continues to occur.
Bravo!
“You do understand that there is a difference between belief that all species were on the Ark and that all species descended from those kinds that were on the Ark, don’t you?”
The difference is moot when it comes to why your statement wasn’t accurate.
“And BOTH are common creationist beliefs.”
No, neither are, as stated by you at least.
“accurately describe what you think is the mainstream creationist belief on this topic.”
Ok, let me help you out here, since you still haven’t picked up on what your error was:
Many creationists believe that every present day species descended from those few kinds that could fit on a boat of known dimensions a few thousand years ago. allmendream
No creationists believe that all species, which were present on Earth at the time they believe the flood occurred, were on the Ark. Therefore, neither do they believe that all present species are descended strictly from species, or kinds, that were on the Ark. This is why your statement is inaccurate. Comprende?
Theistic Evolutionist
The worst of both worlds.
(even the Devil can quote scripture)
But, I enjoy your side slams!
Thank You!
“...Im happy that you accept the simple ..”
yes, well see earlier posts
Thanks
incorrect interjection,
Read the book
Natural rights of man is not mentioned in the Bible.
DNA is not mentioned in the Bible.
Marsupials are not mentioned in the Bible.
Australia is not mentioned in the Bible.
Monotremes are not mentioned in the Bible.
If creationist arguments are limited to understanding only those terms used in the Bible then they are not qualified to discuss scientific evidence.
Read the book.
What is the difference between micro and macro evolution?
What mechanism would stop micro changes from accumulating into macro changes?
Would you characterize the difference between a mouse and a rat as a micro difference or a macro difference?
Sorry young one - you aren’t qualified to judge me.
So you’d only trust the Bible if it spelled everything out for you?!?!? - I highly doubt it...
Behemoth in the book of Job sure sounds like a dinosaur to me - an animal God was questioning Job “where were you when I created...” - seems like Job would have to know what a behemoth is to be questioned about same.
Tirllions of years will not allow for life to rewrite it’s own DNA to cross any macro-evolution boundaries and mankind only gets maybe 100 or so years to figure out where we really stand...
101 Evidences for a Young Age of the Earth...And the Universe
http://creation.com/age-of-the-earth
So dinosaurs and humans coexisted? Was it a Yabba Dabba Do time?
Life “rewrites” its DNA every time the DNA is copied - DNA polymerase (also not mentioned in the Bible) is not 100% accurate. Six or seven million years is more than sufficient to explain a 2% difference in genetic DNA between two populations separated over that time.
By their fruits, ye shalt know them.
Judging is not wrong, unrighteous judgment is.
we make judgments every day. How else are we to discern the truth??
So, I quess I would need you to qualify that statement.
“...are not mentioned in the Bible..”
straw man arguement, That is why I avoid the trap and your other question. RV does not prove evolution.
(move on)
“......If creationist arguments are limited to understanding only those terms used in the Bible then they are not qualified to discuss scientific evidence...”
“if” Since they are not, they are therefore qualified.
Thank You
Good Job
You gotta love that physics!!!
“Spontaneously forming of such machinery will not happen...”
why do the evolutionist still cling to their godless religion???
oh, they don’t like the alternative.....aaahhh!! (sarc)
You are the one who said that “species” are not mentioned in the Bible. Is it therefore your contention that no creationist is qualified to, or can, incorporate the concept of “species” into their explanations?
If not then what was the point of that inane observation?
What is the difference between micro and macro evolution?
What mechanism would stop micro changes from accumulating into macro changes?
Would you characterize the difference between a mouse and a rat as a micro difference or a macro difference?
Does your inability to answer these simple questions speak to your qualifications to discuss scientific matters?
“...incorporate the concept of species into their explanations?...”
Nope
or if you prefer the intellectual response;
Not at all.
If Creationists cannot discuss or account for anything not mentioned in the Bible then it is obvious that they are not qualified to discuss scientific matter.
You are not qualified to discuss ERV’s or account for them via a creationist explanation.
ERV’s are not mentioned in the Bible.
Wow is that ever a stupid and asinine argument! But fun! The implications are obvious, but apparently not to you!
Creationists cannot discuss or explain things not mentioned in the Bible - thus they are not qualified to discuss scientific matters.
LOL!
I was being quite specific - you are not qualified to judge.
