That means there will be other opportunities for filibustering or killing the bill.

Why couldn't the Republicans just stay true to the Second Amendment, say "Shall Not Be Infringed" and kill this monstrosity dead NOW? Why do they ALWAYS kick the can to a position where they ALWAYS lose?

Unfortunately, Mark Kirk was the most conservative candidate who could get elected in IL.

I’m not sure that his father is the Heavenly One. I think it’s more likely to be the father of lies.

Satan answers to our Heavenly Father and does what he's told.
But I forgot about this.

I posted that because I couldn’t remember what cloture meant ... and a lot of people never admit their ignorance.

My two from Georgia are effing liar RINOS. They will vote against the legislation and it will pass. They’ll say “ we tried”, when they had their chance now..

Chambliss is a dick and Isakson is a traitor. Isakson has lost my vote when he’s up for reelection. Chambliss can go home and rot it 2014. No more effing RINOS ever!

And we’re supposed to do... WHAT, exactly?

Throw our heads back and howl? Write letters doomed for the shredder? Make phone calls followed by the “delete” button? Or the ultimate in useless gestures... vote?

“What do we do when our side is full of TRAITORS? “

I don’t like my answer, but here it is.

—Vote against them and support ANYONE that runs against them. If need be, support another RINO or democrat loon. THESE specific people-there damnable TRAITORS need to lose their career at whatever the cost.

I do not support the notion of a bloody Civil War, but I do believe it will come and when it’s over, win or lose - things will most certainly be different. The good People of this once great country are under daily attack, they are being pushed, pushed, broken and pushed again — there WILL eventually be pushback....and it will be bloody.

The first thing is to realize and ADMIT who they are.

Jeff Flake of Arizona, to whose campaign I contributed (several times when his campaign said they were in need), is proving to be no Ted Cruz. Cruz is a man of integrity—Flake is starting to show just the beginnings of becoming a John McCain Republican. There’s got to be something in the public water supply that Flake has been drinking that does not have a corresponding effect on Cruz.

I called Senator Cochran's Jackson office and his DC office and thanked him for standing up for our 2nd Amendment by voting against Cloture.
I also ask him to help us find another conservative to take Wicker's place, since I will be voting against Wicker, no matter who runs against him.

Seriously !

Unless we soon get on with the business that this national CF has been building toward for 50 years, Constitutional patriots will end up as the pow's who never fired a shot.

Surely a semi-old man with a lame leg and glasses can be some kinda useful, and by God the willingness is there.

But here we sit, individually defiant, but with a collective yet disorganized thumb up our ass.

wtf, over . . .

I have had it with almost every single one of them.

I am sick of the lies, the corruption, the theater, the treason, the destruction of our way of life, the daily push and attempts to keep us on edge, crisis after crisis - even when none exists.... I am sick of all of it.

But, there is good news, in that I have found a way to save time and wasted thought. I used to wakeup in the morning faced with the effort of trying to figure out who all I have learned to hate. Now when I wakeup, I simply hate them all. ;>)

Read Brig. Gen. Charles J. Dunlap Jr.'s (then Lieutenant Colonel, from Parameters, Winter 1992-93, pp. 2-20.) National Defense University "strategy essay" titled The Origins of the American Military Coup of 2012.
