Police confirmed that at least three people lost their lives in today´s deadly Boston Marathon terror attack as counter-terrorism sources in the city revealed that seven devices were planted across the city - but only two detonated. Law enforcement in the city said that they found what they believed were five additional, undetonated explosive devices around the Boston area. The additional devices were uncovered as police frantically inspected all suspicious packages, many left behind as runners and pedestrians rushed away from the scene in the aftermath of the blasts.

I look to the Brit press to get the facts right well ahead of the diseased, leftist political hacks who call themselves “journalists” here.
It appears this bombing was designed not to kill, but to maim. It succeeded at doing just that.
My question is: Why does New York go on high alert for terror that occurred in Boston? Isn’t it sort of, I don’t know, self-centered of them to think they would be a target, possibly taking away emergency help from Boston? Boston is the place dealing with terror, not NY.
And they want to take away our guns??
NY has always been considered the No. 1 target.
One of the first things done was to shut down cell phone service in the area. So were the devices hooked up to cell phone devices? If so, maybe the plan was to set oof the devices afterwards to take out the EMT’s, etc.
Keep in mind that during the 2008 RNC in St Paul, MN, some punks were assembling remote operated incendiary devices to kill or maim police officers. The punks, known as the “RNC Eight” were praised by none other than Minnecraponus mayor RT Rybak.
I’ve gotta say, I think the Boston PD was just great on this.

New York has a target on their back. Not only that, but with the surrounding communities having been involved to a fifty mile radius, just about everyone at least knowing a family who hoped for two weeks, going up to the station finally to retrieve the car, etc. they are post traumatic.
Of course they’re self centered; but there’s that too.
We don’t know how many of these were avoided during the last 12 years.
Seems it wasn’t that cell phone service was shut down, it was that it promptly overloaded by so many calls. Concentrate that many people in that small a space and give them all a reason to start making calls at once, yeah the system collapses. Hysterical callers may have saved lives by swamping the cell towers.
