Once, during my tenure as a human resource officer for a construction company, we took some jobs in a neighboring state. This meant our workers were faced with a 2-hour commute each way, plus a full workday. To ease the burden, we booked motel rooms for the week, but we also arranged vans and drivers to transport those who decided to commute. Almost every worker took the vans!
One of our grumpiest workers discarded his usual demeanor as he described the thrill and surprise of his wife and four boys on the first night. He hadnt told them he had an option to come home, so he showed up unexpectedly to surprise them. Later his wife called to thank the company owner, telling him their family was loyal for life to anyone who understood how important home was to workers.
Anyone who has been deprived of home, even for a short time, will understand the comfort Jesus disciples drew from His words when He promised that an eternal home awaited them (John 14:2). Then, to make their joy complete, Jesus told them He would prepare and guide them to that home, and, joy of joys, He would be there too (v.3).
Remember the greatest comfort of this life: Jesus promised that one day we will go home to be with Him.

That was a fun quiz and I liked the answer I got!!!
What age do I act?
Usually somewhere between half my age and twice my age.
Depends on the mood, the hour, and the companionship.
Evening, Kathy.
Took the test. Looks like I’m hopelessly stunted. (Actually 30-something; I loved my 30s!)

You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. You're quite rebellious, and you don't like being told what to do. You like to do things your way. You have your own unique style, taste in music, and outlook on life. |
You Act Like You Are 33 Years Old |
You're responsible, wise, and have enough experience to understand a lot of the world. You're at the point in your life where you understand yourself pretty well. You are figuring out what you want... and how to get it! |

Well in four days i will be 13 in freeper years
I’m 30. No really I am. Don’t let my birth year of 1959 fool you. I really am 30. Your scientific test says so.
Right now I act about my age, which is 66. When I was in my mid 40s I retired and worked several Summers at a retreat in the mountains.
The Summer Staff was composed of College Students. I think I was the only one in my 40s tho I was recreation director. At that time I could compete completely on a level plain with the young men.
For example one of the guys on my crew played middle linebacker for a national championship team. We argued back and forth over who was the better athlete and finally devised a ten event competition. He won the 50 yard dash easily even tho I had been a world class sprinter in college. I think your legs are the first to go. He also beat me in arm wrestling and the football throw. He also beat me in weight lifting. I beat him in Tennis, Ping Pong, basketball shooting, Shot put, discus, and carpet golf.
After I hit 50 I could tell I was no longer able to compete with the young guys in such things as basketball or flag football etc. Now at 66 my arthritics totally has me down. At times I can not even get around very well.

Good morning Ma ((HUGS))
I am not feeling well so won’t be participating today. Only checking it long enough to say good morning.
However, I did look at the quiz and I’m like:
“why isn’t brownies” on dessert list?
“Why only Rolling Stones and Gun’s & Roses?” (neither the greatest IMO)
Anyhoo, not a lot for me to choose from, so just saying hello before I go.
Thanks for continuing the fun quiz thread.
HUGS (at a distance)
