Funny, he voted against the gun bill even though he knew he was leaving and wouldn’t have to face the voters of Montana, maybe there is a shred of decency in him...

Unfortunately, this actually complicates us getting this seat. It was expected that ex-Gov. Schweitzer was going to challenge Baucus in the Dem primary, which was going to be ugly. Whomever emerged would be damaged against a GOP opponent. Now with Schweitzer having clear sailing, it will be more difficult, and with no clear cut GOP opponent.

Which frees him to vote for the next gun control bill that is coming down the pike.

And like Tom Daschle before him, someday he’ll show up on Capitol Hill in a Rolex and Armani suit to tell his former colleagues that life as an ex-Senator can be very, very good indeed....IF you’re willing to play ball.

He voted the right way on gun control, which sealed his fate among the Dems, O & Bloomberg.

I like the way he has signaled to the GOP that they get their candidate lined up.

That makes six democrat senators retiring and ten freshmen up for reelection, not to mention Chambliss and Johannes retiring on the repulican side. If we play our cards right, the senate in 2015 could be a VERY conservative body!

Western Montana is a cesspool of liberals. Butte (pronounced “butt” by any other Montana that does not live there) experienced communist riots in the early 20s since most of the miners were from the east coast and Europe. The rest of Montana is inhabited by rock-solid sons of liberty.

One of the chief architects of Obamacare. He doesn’t want to be around for the train wreck.

He recently said that the ObamaCare implementation was going to be a “train wreck.” I guess he didn’t want to hang around to take the blame for it. Time to open up a lobby firm on K Street.

On Fox News this morning they said when he goes home all he hears is problems with ObamaCare from his constituents. They ask for answers and he has none. He questions Sebelius and she has none. He said he sees a train wreck coming. He helped write ObamaCare legislation. He is toast.

Good news there... just can’t waste a pickup opportunity with an undisciplined candidate who blurts out idiotic comments about rape.

He sobered up, saw what was really in obamacare, declared it a train wreck and lost core democrat support he would need to be re-elected. He will probably vote for all the gun control legislation as an in your face to all those in Montana he has been having to tell he is moderate or Conservative.

I would not bet on it, from my observation he is running. On the other hand Schweitzer would easily win his seat...

A number of Moderate Dems have said “nyet” on running in 2014. I suspect they can no longer hold their nose while backing the Marxist agenda.
