There is no comparison between Bush and the current imposter. Bush is a good person, a man of principle and believer in God. But a liberal.
We are stuck with a communist, marxist, sympathizer for the middle eastern death cult unprincipled lying America-hating narcissist pos.

Yes, GWB can’t help but rise in stature in comparison to the current pPresident. It’s worth noting, though, that five years of absolute silence would probably help Obama’s image, too.

True, but the fact remains: Bush's handling of the bully pulpit - which is to say total abandonment of it - helped set the table for Obama. He let Rove run messaging, and Rove's messaging has been a disaster from the beginning, and ran right through what his Crossroads Group did this cycle:
All explained here in fact:

I for one love him. He wasn’t perfect and I didn’t agree with everything he did, but he was and is a man of honor who loves this country. Polar opposites from what we have now.

As do I. Very much. Fair or not, however, the unblinking eye of history, will come to judge him harshly. For it was he that created The Department of Homeland Security. A monstrous, bloated federal agency, that his successor wields as a bludgeon against the American people.

I agree, I for one liked him also. He had enormous respect for the Office of President which the currect President does not. He said that he was alway humble when he was in the Office of the President and the history of the office.
He loves his country and he loved and always respected his troops in which he was Commander in Chief. I’ve never forgotten that.
Mr. President George W Bush have a wonderful day today in the dedication of your Presidential library
