Two unnamed U.S. officials have told the Associated Press that the surviving suspect in the Boston bombings was unarmed when police captured him hiding inside a boat in a neighborhood back yard. The report contradicts the Boston police department's own account of Dzhokar Tsarnaev's capture on Friday - after commissioner Ed Davies described a firefight between him and officers before the terror suspect was captured.
The New York Times also said an M4 rifle had been found on the boat - another claim contradicted by the latest revelations.

I keep having these doubts from Day One that the massive armed raid of houses was about something else.

They probably wanted to test how easy it would be to declare martial law. Shelter in place was more like “wait till we knock down your door and forcibly remove you”! I hope the people who endured their jackbooted tactics sue the heck out of them.
that seems a likely scenario because IF that video is of him getting OFF the boat instead of IN the boat (as some have reported )it seems he is just too healthy and not much blood.
So then they had to make up a story of him having a gun and shooting at them.

Just because someone says the cops killed the bomber doesn’t mean it is so..but it is a conflicting story.
The boat owner saw “a lot of blood” in the boat.
I am not questioning whether he had a gun in the boat. I was clarifying that there was only one gun not two as the other poster said Fox reported.
I don’t know why people can’t search for themselves instead of demanding a link from me.

But here is the witness that conflicts with the POLICE STORY
Exactly how is a holster rigged to not allow extraction unless it has some sort of bio release mechanism? Who puts locks on holsters?
They walked up and shot him sitting in his car and they may not have had time to get into the car and get it or he fell in an awkward position.
Sure, because bomber was wounded in the shootout with his brother.
Of course he would bleed.
But the picture of him getting OFF that boat does not look the same as him lying on that stretcher.
And now we know why.
HE DIDNT SHOOT HIMSELF IN THE THROAT. HE HAD NO GUN
I don't know if you saw any footage of the shootout, but, you could see there was a lot of gunfire and a lot of confusion. I don't think the cops knew for sure how many guns these guys had because not only was there shooting going on but there were pipe bombs being lobbed at the cops and also another one of those pressure cooker bombs apparently went off as well.

That picture of him getting out of the boat is not very clear. It appears he has blood on his shirt.
The cops are looking worse and worse by the day in this.
Imagine if there we ten really well trained terrorists who were in fact heavily armed?

Here is the picture of the suspect getting out of the boat, I can’t see his face or neck.
They are learning, even though they are in general pretty slow learners.
These days it is pretty sure they will eventually be caught on camera if they use throw downs...and no gag order from the local judge will help worth a damn after the video has been up on YouTube for a week.

Look at the bullet holes in the boat from this picture. He could have easily been hit from any of these bullets in the neck. Quite frankly I am surprised he surrived at all.
And the police didn't find the guy.
It was a citizen who did.
The footage I saw was very dark and it was hard to make out what was going on. Heard alot of gunfire though. Fox also said the pressure cooker bomb didn’t go off because the lid was loose.
I should have realized that listening to reporters during something like this is useless. To many different reports.
