(CNN) - Scientists in Uruguay announced Wednesday the birth of the first genetically-modified phosphorescent sheep.
Nine sheep were born in October 2012 at Uruguay's Institute of Animal Reproduction, in an experiment done in partnership with the Institut Pasteur.
According to the scientists, the sheep developed normally, without showing any difference with their non-modified counterparts.
Uruguayan scientists used a gene from a jellyfish which is responsible for production of a green fluorescent protein.

Wonderful!
Obama and the DC band idiots see nothing wrong with GMO food.
I have gone organic, I don’t trust the idiots or the science.

I had heard that they had done this with cats.
I was expecting them to try mastiffs next.
