More than seven months after the attack Sept. 11, 2012, on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the Obama administration continues to defend itself against allegations from House Republicans that the administration has not fully cooperated with Congress on the investigation into the attack. On Tuesday, both President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry addressed claims being made by House Oversight and Foreign Affairs Committee leaders that the administration is impeding the Congressional testimony of State Department and CIA employees who survived the attack. “I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody’s been blocked from testifying,”

“Ed, I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying.”

Dipstick didn't address the question, which of course wasn't testifying it was allowing attorneys reasonable access to information that would allow them to adequately represent their whistleblower clients.

This was lost on soooo many people

They are not being kept quiet.

They are just not allowed to talk to anybody.

I have figured out how to win the war in Afghanistan. The problem is that we’ve been focusing on manpower when we should be focusing on using brainpower to win this war. As our admirals and generals combined have the IQ of a Sea Cucumber, where will we find this brainpower? Why, university social science professors, of course! Now, they won’t go willingly, so we’ll have to have a social science professor draft. Remember JFK, “ask not what your country can do for you.....”. We can pay them at the E-3 pay grade. They have had some training. We just drop them off at the various villages in Afghanistan, and they can help them just like they have helped us! Everyone benefits! The Afghans learn about queer studies and black studies and art therapy. We get these carbuncles on the body politic out of our hair for awhile. “But....they might get killed!” Yep. It’s time for those social science professors to quit yapping about how bad this country is and go to Afghanistan and work their magic there.

These 30 people just disappeared all by themselves and have remained hiding ever since.

No : Obama isn’t hiding them, it just happens to be a coincidence that no names have come out and no one has said a word about their life threatening situation.

believe that because Obama and John(traitor) Kerry said so.

“Ed, I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying.”

...But, let me be clear, my administration is going to focus like a laser on who these, er, whistleblowers are, so we can hunt them down and have a, er, beer summit with them in Ft. Marcy park, I mean the Rose Garden.

“Not familiar with this notion...”

Sure, Obama — not familiar with threatening people with losses of jobs and worse if they dare cross your path, right? Nah... no Chicago politics at work at all... nothing to see here.

“I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody’s been blocked from testifying,”

He's definitely familiar with the 'notion' or he wouldn't be commenting on it. Maybe he meant to say he has no knowledge of anyone being blocked from testifying, which would also probably be incorrect.

My beloved daughter-in law asked me about this today. She is from Northern Italy, and speaks English well, but has a hard time with the “nuances” of our language.

I did my best to explain the difference between “not knowing” about something, and being familiar with it.

Best I could come up with is asking if she “knew” her her next door neighbors (yes).... was she “familiar” with them (no).

But, most of the low-information voters probably don’t get the difference either. It is so easy to lie with words. Bill Clinton taught us that.

It all depends on the meaning. I wonder if the loyal White House Correspondents get the difference?

i like that, but a 2-pronged approach should include over-fed, and recently diarrhealy sp? induced, plentiful “feral hogs”, being released into major muslim population centers throughout America, and in Afghanistan. let ‘em loose, while the Arkansas Razorback fight song is played @ high decibel levels. when they become accustomed to the hogs coming with the music, sometimes just play the music, & watch them freak out. keep it up until they finally say “uncle allah”, and leave. there’s a lot o’fun to be had here, and we have it comin’.
