President Barack Obama will be unable to finish his second term due to the Benghazi scandal, media personality and former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee expects.
The prediction came Monday during his radio show, "The Mike Huckabee Show."
"I believe that before it's all over, this president will not fill out his full term. I know that puts me on a limb," he said, according to Politico. "But this is not minor. It wasn't minor when Richard Nixon lied to the American people and worked with those in his administration to cover-up what really happened in Watergate. But, I remind you – as bad as Watergate was, because it broke the trust between the president and the people, no one died. This is more serious because four Americans did, in fact, die."
This Wednesday, at least three whistle blowers are set to testify before a Republican-led U.S. House committee. They will present evidence that the Obama administration failed to respond quickly to the September 11, 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya that led to the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. They will also present evidence that the administration purposely misled when it blamed the attack on a YouTube video and said it arose out of a spontaneous demonstration.
One of those testifying will be Greg Hicks, who served under Chris Stevens. Hicks was not in Libya during the attack, but was in contact with Stevens as the attack was taking place.
Hicks' "story is totally at variance with what some American officials were saying in public on this broadcast five days after the attack," veteran CBS journalist Bob Schieffer said Sunday on "Face the Nation." "The administration claimed the attack grew out of a spontaneous demonstration provoked by protests in Egypt. Greg Hicks told investigators that was simply not true."
Huckabee said that the Benghazi scandal "goes all the way to the heart of the integrity of the United States government."
"When a president lies to the American people and is part of a cover-up, he cannot continue to govern," Huckabee added. "And as the facts come out, I think we're going to see something startling. And before it's over, I don't think this president will finish his term unless somehow they can delay it in Congress past the next three and a half years."
A third part of the scandal has to do with the denial of additional security by the Obama administration for U.S. officials stationed in Libya. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed in January that she was unaware that requests, by Stevens and other top officials, were denied. Republican investigators, though, found that Clinton had signed off on a plan to reduce the number of security personnel in Libya. Administration officials counter that many State Department documents bear the secretary's signature, but she does not see all of them.
If I had to choose between two evils, I’d chose Biden. At least he was born in America. I’ve never heard his wife say “This is the first time I’ve been proud of my country”. I don’t think he’d turn the White House into a Rapper’s street party. Biden is an idiot, but at least it’s out in the open. With some luck, perhaps Eric Holder would resign under Biden. Biden might actually LISTEN to conservatives at least ONCE. 0bama is so deeply entrenched in his ideology he will not listen to opposing views. EVER.

I’ll go back further than when Obama was elected POTUSA. His entire life is bundled in lies and obscurities including family and associates. That so many persons will give allegiance to such a person will be forever a stain on our supposedly intelligent/wise democratic functioning of our Republic.

It’s tough for all of us, some days are tougher than others. I have no idea what we, as a country, will end up with, but I do believe that this nightmare shall eventually pass, win, lose or draw.
It’s like we are in a violent and relentless storm at sea. We are all sick and we know that the storm will eventually end and the seas will calm, but we are not sure if our ship will endure and take us to shore, nor do we know on what shore we will land.
If you kick a dog enough times, he will either cower or he will bite you.... and, he will never again be your friend. Those in power will never again find me to be their friend, and THIS dog will never cower.

As ridiculous as The Huckster's logic this can be filed the same. Remember this is the corrupt "Two-Party Cartel". A great concept but not allowed by these elites.
The “media” will be going into a hyper-spin mode unseen since Monicagate. We’re going to hear much about how Republicans denied funds to emplace the proper level of military security at our diplomatic missions, therefore, it’s THEIR fault those four died at Benghazi.
(Never mind the fact our embassies in Paris and Berlin are fully staffed)
I feel your frustration & I do support the fact that at least we are having hearings just to slow the commies down. However, follow the dots all the way back to the Klintoons & you can only assume that this time will be no different than the many other times. I have had my hopes up so many times & then been crushed. Ergo, nothing will come but a slowdown to the dark side.
i would love nothing more than if this thing had legs. really. but with a track record of caving and ‘going along to get along’, the track record is dismal. face it, until our people develop spines, this is another distraction. i’ve heard the sky is falling too many times to believe it will in this case.
