The fools who chant the mantra 'Our strength is in our diversity' are simply out of their minds.
DeMint’s early embrace of Romney in 2008 had always troubled me too. SC Republicans, both voters and leaders, though now a majority in their own state, seem to lack the “fire in the belly.”
The Dems at MSNBC have been celebrating the end of conservative opposition to amnesty with this Heritage firing, because now they can claim the whole study of amnesty costs is tainted.
"I'm directing Sen Schumer to rename immigration reform:
'The Ariel Castro Respect and Dignity for Latinos Bill.""
"A separate amendment---'The Tamarlan Tsarneav Memorial
Amendment'---will provide government-issue pressure cookers,
fireworks, and jars of vaseline for tormented Chechneyan
immigrants seeking "asylum" from govt persecution."
Come on, ‘Pedro’ is an good old American Red, white and Blue name,
If DeMint can “walk the walk,” then we might be pre-disposed to listen to him “talk the talk.”
Dismissal of truth teller Richwine has not been evidence of “walking the walk.”
Repeating the errors of the 1986 Reagan Cave-In to Democrat approved Illegal Alien Invasion seems certain to be repeated by RINO Cave-In to The Eight Senate Gangsters.
_____________
Remember that May Fifth is National MEXICAN GO HOME! Day.
We need to remember the mantra of the Left back in the ‘60s—for those of us old enough to remember all that BS.
Well, it wasn’t BS for them—and it became their religion.
After a coupla World Wars, amongst all the ‘white’ nations ( and convieniently forgeting the mass slaughters of the ‘brown’, ‘black’, and ‘yellow’ peoples) the Left decided that the real problem was the WHITE RACE.
Get rid of the Eeeevil ‘Whites’ and all would be peachy-keen grooveenescence.
High taxation (can’t afford many kids).
Higher immigration (welfare needs more taxes-see above).
Rinse and repeat was the methodology.
Europe gets flooded with muzzies and blacks.
U, S, of A gets Mehhiccans and African blacks, too.
After a generation or so.............
Kennedy and the rest are having their revenge.
God helps us all.
This has been a racist announcement.
I agree that Cinco de Mayo (a feast day celebrated only in Puebla, MX) is an historic date that very few Mexicans understand its meaning. Practically all American idiots that celebrate it by getting drunk and falling into a gutter or stumbling into a taxi after puking their guts out don’t understand it at all.
Most think it’s when the socialist Mexican government drove the Spanish out, but it’s commemorates a very small battle in and near the city of Puebla against the French.
It is most appropriate that it be the Mexican Go Home day.
No, we are.
"Our" di-versity IS their strength. Diversity entails conflict (adverse, converse, reverse, perverse...). The more strife there is, the more criminals, welfare cases, police, courts, prisons, translators, psychologists, teachers, counselors, nurses, and other democrat union constituencies there are, the more power Democrats have to sell to their wealthy sponsors. Getting the middle class conservative to pay for it only drives our numbers down.
Diversity is "our" strength when "our" consists of Democrats. Democrats are internationalists. They don't want America to be strong. We are out 'of our minds' when we buy into any of it.
Frankly, as flawed at Romney was in 2008 and in 2012, I am not sure who in either race was better. I don’t blame DeMint for supporting someone who was good on core economic issues. I don’t doubt DeMint got assurances on a number of key issues to pull the guy to the right as much as possible.
We just had no good candidates during the past two cycles. I reluctantly voted for Romney in 2008 in FL to try to knock McCain out of the lead. Romney is far better than the back stabbing McCain by every measure. In 2012, in the same position, I reluctantly voted for Newt to try to knock Romney off his path to the nomination. I had no believe that Newt could win the general, I am certain he wouldn’t have. Even though we would have put up a better fight, we lost on the women’s vote who got suckered by the war on women. Newt is a much tougher candidate to lure female votes than Romney.
No one can challenge DeMint on fidelity to conservative principles. He bucked the party through the past two cycles to boost no less than 6-8 conservative Senators to office. He, more than anyone in the nation, changed the course of the listless and spineless Senate GOP caucus over the past 3 years.
There is so much that is so bad about Mexican and Dominican immigration that the case could have been made without referring to IQ.
DeMint for President...
Which is why you/we can’t be a jerk and just publish without the awareness that we are in occupied territory where the media is controlled by our enemies. That IQ thing did taint the study and you/we should have seen it coming.
DeMint’s playing footsie with Willard back to ‘08 was evidence he was not the solid Conservative he proclaimed himself to be.
IQ wasn't mentioned. I trust you don't fall into this category of those who crunch tacos and drink Corona and Tequila on this day.
I don't work for Heritage so it wasn't my job to ‘see it coming’. That was DeMint’s job.
Back in the 1990s the country was still American and Murray's The Bell Curve while stirring debate and cries of racism was defended regardless, because it was backed up by evidence.
But we now live in an era where immigration from third world nations has been so overwhelming in numbers over a short time that the GOP cant say anything but ‘I surrender’, which is what they are doing now. We are little more than hostages.
Why is this such a surprise. We get sold out every day by
people who only use us to attain power.
I don’t drink Corona on any day. Yes, I know that IQ wasn’t mentioned, but it was the topic of a previous study by the author. If they had simply had a different writer for this study, or assigned authorship to a diferent writer, they could have avoided this problem.
You are right, we are hostages, which is why we have to take that into account for our strategies.
