Obama Seeks Advice From Bush and Romney on Benghazi, IRS Scandals
The Palookaville Post ^ | May 13, 2013 | The Paperboy

Posted on 05/13/2013 4:52:47 PM PDT by onyx

After enduring the longest weekend of his previously unchallenged presidency, Barack Hussein Obama Monday covertly solicited advice from two of his most publicly criticized political adversaries, George W. Bush and Mitt Romney.

Obama requested the meeting with Bush and Romney when his gaggle of hand picked aides failed to provide sound counsel after recent scandals with Benghazi and the IRS were forced into the liberal main stream media portraying the President as an emperor who was suddenly found to be wearing no clothes.

“President Obama was blindsided by his friends in the left wing news media, and felt betrayed by news reporters actually reporting the truth,” said a representative for White House press secretary Art Carney.

“Our legal team parses statements from the Obama administration very carefully, but it has become apparent that our evasive strategy is no longer working. The President needed help from people with experience being attacked by the media and who also know how to tell the truth, that’s why he contacted Bush and Romney.”

President Bush and Governor Romney, two men who were never treated properly by the Obama administration or the main stream media, were asked to meet with the President and explain how to handle adversity without being able to manufacture a birth certificate, bribe a public official or threaten an opponent Chicago style.

“This whole situation is new territory for us liberals, and if we want to stay in power we may have to learn how to do the right thing and simply tell the truth,” said the White House stenographer who wrote the invitations to Bush and Romney.

“At this point we aren’t sure if Bush and Romney are willing to help President Obama out of this jam, or if they’re happy to watch him twist in the wind like Nixon. We wouldn’t be in this mess if we could locate a Democrat with decent values and integrity, and unfortunately our next best thing is either Bill or Hillary Clinton.”

Behind the scenes flustered White House aides scrambled to answer the flood of complaints not only made by conservatives and Republicans, but also from newly awakened and confused progressive supporters.

“47% of the low information electorate never heard of Benghazi or the IRS,” said a key White House intern.

“All of the sudden Democrats are discovering that the checks they get every month are paid for by their neighbors and not by Obama. They also want to know why an American President thought it was best to stand down instead of help fellow Americans under attack.”

The Palookaville Post has learned that both President Bush and Governor Romney will do the right thing for the good of the country, and have agreed to meet with Obama to help straighten out the President’s values and principles.

Other conservative leaders have requested that, for the good of the country, the meeting be held in the distant future allowing the President ot twist in the wind like Nixon.

Tell the truth ?

Can`t do that, he`d have to admit running weapons from Libya to terrorists in Syria.

Other options?

Keep lying or resign.

Bush and Romney should not be suckered in by 0bama.

Let 0 handle Benghazi by himself or B & R will be blamed for any mismanagement of this affair.

No, let Dick Cheney do it. He’s better with words. Remember what he told Leahy to do?

If he throws in Juan McCain and Gramnesty, he can have his own “Gang of Four” to pull his chestnuts out of the fire.

My feeling is that the AP wire taps are going to ultimately be the undoing of the cozy relationship with the press.

That is finally something that reporters can identify with.

All the rest was something that didn't impact them. Criminal, immoral, yes, but not against the fifth estate.
