Go figure that a protection/shakedown racket would do something like that and fall back to the courts for backup.

“Another parking enforcement officer claims that he suffers from heart palpitations, stress and anxiety, and “dreams related to this activity.””
hahahahahahahahaha!
If everybody were law abiding, there's be no need for meter maids, among others.
It makes no difference who puts money in the meter.
Morons.
In the 1950’s my home town Chamber of Commerce ran a similar campaign.
The note read:
The meter turned red
We knew you’d be blue
So we put in a nickel for you.
The City’s response: make “topping off” a meter a crime.
Same thing happened in Santa Cruz 5 years ago.
“Besides following me... and placing coins in expired meters to prevent me from writing tickets”
Aww, so that’s it- Sad because they can’t make the quotas.
I would love to see this one go to the USSC.
New Hampshire is populated today by phonies and cowards. They vote straight Rat last November and yet they still have no income tax *or* sales tax. When are they going to start paying “their fair share”? They must do it “for the children”.
It is also illegal in this town to not put money in a meter. If you park at a meter which has 30 minutes left and DO NOT add to it, you can be ticketed.
It is all about revenue.

Florida quietly shortened yellow light standards & lengths, resulting in more red light camera tickets for you

My city got rid of parking meters 15 years ago.
Oh, just BRING IT. This is as complete a loser of a case as I’ve seen in years. The city will get laughed out of court.
Feeding the meters I can kinda understand, though in some places it has been illegal for a long time.
I don’t understand why they are bothering the enforcement personnel.
Looks like the Sheriff of Nottingham is in charge of Keene, New Hampshire.
I like Cool Hand Luke’s attitude toward parking meters.
The meter maid must be an idiot if he can’t out think the robinhoods.
Yet the city fathers wonder why folks like me flat out refuse to go downtown unless it’s unavoidable.
Last time I went for sushi there was one other car parked on the street, it was 6:45pm, and I got a $40 dollar ticket while I was getting change for the meter.
Contemplate that ratio.
If this whole Robin Hood thing continued, the city might have to raise even more taxes (and meter rates) to continue to employ such an army of parking...mai...enforcement officers.
Why on earth does that small of a town EVEN HAVE parking meters? Control, that's why. I hope that the Robin Hoods take this lawsuit as the hint that it is time to stop pecking at the cat, and instead eject it.
In today’s world of online shopping, online banking, and strip malls with free parking, any town that is trying to maintain parking meters in their downtown area, is killing any hope of revitalized downtown businesses. Especially for a town of 23,000 people.
