IRS Scandal Confirms why we need the 2 Amendment
05-18-13 | Vanity

In light of the ongoing IRS scandal, and who knows what else these folks are up to, doesn't it make it plain to see why we need the Second Amendment?

If a government can ask what kind of prayers are being said in an organization there is practically no limit to what else they can ask.

Bear in mind these statists are the same folks who will be in charge of your health care. What if they decide that certain groups aren't worthy of care any longer? What if they favor statist groups over conservative groups?

The implications of this are huge.

It's time for all good people to begin praying and thinking about our future.

Let's not be like the Jews in Nazi Germany who denied what was happening right up to the point they got off the trains.

A simple prayer from a humble man:

Dear Lord

We ask you to send your angels to the IRS and help bring them to their senses.

We ask you to lift their blindness and give the IRS people sight.

We ask you to take the child-like ways of the IRS, and bring them into the world of maturity.

We ask you to take the devil in each IRS technician, and cast that devil out.

We ask you to lay your hands upon their incompetence, and give them brilliance.

We ask you to give the IRS folks compassion, where they have none.

And Lord, we ask that you tinker with the IRS rules a bit because we really don’t want to waste prayer upon the IRS. We have really more important things to ask your help on, and this ought not be in the top ten issues. Amen.

The asshole IRS director actually said, “It’s all legal.” Well, so is the second amendment!

Actually the IRS scandal is why we need to disband the IRS.

It looks to me like a delicately choreographed dance is taking place in Washington. Republicans rant, Democrats repeat talking points, IRS officials stonewall, and the press worships and obeys the administration.

I believe that I was a victim of the IRS’s actions, and I want to be certain that this does not happen to me or anyone else ever again. I know, though, what Barack and his henchmen know: Republicans and conservatives lack the courage and the means to find and punish the perpetrators of these crimes.

We don’t need any more outrage. I have enough for everybody. We need planning, perseverance, and the determination to see this investigation and prosecution through to the end — firings, fines, and prison sentences.

AMERICANS WHO LOVE LIBERTY HAVE EFFECTIVELY BEEN PREVENTED FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS.

A simple prayer from a humble man:

Lord, please let me occupy the high ground.

Lord, please keep my aim true.

Lord, please let me have one shot, one kill (ammo is scarce Lord).

Lord, please let me exfil without being seen.

In Jesus name I pray, amen.

IRS scandal began when it was formed. Its intent is and always has been political. It is a tool in the hands of those in power to usurp over the masses, i.e., to reduce the Bourgeoisie to the lower classes and lord it over the lot... to keep us all in the worker class while they enjoy the high life on our dime... sure they’ll provide for our basic needs (a cell phone, a tv, internet with some Obama cash) but don’t you dare try to succeed and challenge their hold on power... they’ll sick the IRS on your ass and make you wish you lived under a rock. Damn the IRS...

The left tells us they want to take away the Second Amendment rights; the IRS tells us we have no First Amendment rights. How long before we lose the right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure, the right against self-incrimination, the right to confront our accusers, the right to a public trial, the right to a trial by jury, the right to due process, and the protection against cruel and unusual punishment? How long does freedom have left?

You are exactly right.

The government will need money for national defense, but states and private entities can do most of the other things better and cheaper.

I hope the day will come when the IRS no longer exists and Americans don’t have to fear being jerked around or destroyed by corrupt tax collectors. We should not have to live in fear of people who are, after all, our employees.

we need to disband the IRS.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Indeed!

Here’s a simple plan:

The federal government sends each state governor a tax bill. The size of the tax bill corresponds to the population in the last census. The 57 states ( Oops! FIFTY states) independently decide how they will collect and pay it.

Outcome:

1) Out of 50 states the best tax collection practices, the least intrusive to the individual, and least damaging for the economy, for collecting tax will emerge and be emulated by the other states.

2) EVERY IRS worker will be out of a government job and free to produce real health and wealth for the world to enjoy. Imagine the immediate jump in the GNP.

The conversion to a communists Country with a dictator is rapidly being accomplished. Looks like some of us are waking up and I hope not too late. So far all attempts to stop this conversion are very weak and we are losing ground.

I give you resounding applause for your comment, July4!

I have been wondering why the issue of the intrusive census questionnaire has not been brought up as a corollary to the government intrusions and data collecting on innocent citizens performed by the IRS.

Here is a link to a thread regarding that issue. It imho is equally an overreach as the IRS, EPA, and all the other desecrations of this administration.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3015780/posts?page=1

“‘Government is not spying’ (American Community Survey - 2010 census)”

I cannot sit silently after reading “Census Calling on Kaua`i” (April 29, 2013).

The article is counter to my personal experience and I feel compelled to share my experience with you.

In the article the statements made by Mr. Gene Henry of the American Community Survey are counter to fact. This is not a letter representing one party or another. It is not an attempt to sway you to opt out of the American Community Survey. It is simply a recitation of fact.

In 2010 my wife and I received a letter demanding that we participate in the ACS. The notification stated that compliance was mandated by law, and that failure to comply could result in my arrest and imprisonment. The questions asked were extremely intrusive, and I responded that I was opting out of the program.

My personal belief is that this “survey” is an intrusion that goes well beyond information that a citizen should be required to provide. Questions regarding personal income, personal habits, personal health and related subjects are subjects that I choose not to share with anyone.

As Mark Twain famously observed, “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it.” In my opinion the government does not deserve to demand the information required by the ACS.

When I notified ACS that I chose to opt out we initially received letters notifying us that this was not an option. My continued refusal resulted in a number of phone calls threatening reprisal if we did not participate.

My wife received an unannounced visit by an ACS representative demanding that she answer the questions in the survey. She wisely suggested that the ACS contact me. The following is a direct quote of my letter of formal complaint to the U.S. Census Bureau following my unannounced visit from Mr. Henry, the field representative quoted in your article. He is describing me:

“I am a combat veteran and I see that Flag up there, but I don’t see an American in front of me.” 18 DEC 2010, 1320hrs

If this does not stoke us into action, this is the end. We need a leader to get behind and dismantle the IRS the EPA and any other Fed Regulatory body that has been use to tamp down American voices. These agencies are mostly political and as such are filled with progressives and liberals (little difference these days) who want no opposition... no wonder they want our guns... If they were successful in their effort to do that, then why bother.

Dammit Ya’ll, we need to rise up again and destroy the tools of the left, utterly dismantle them. We need civil disobedience this time... say no to the IRS, go to jail if we must... its us vs them, their power is our purse, if we keep them closed, it will force what few politicians of good will there are into serious action. As the governed we say, they are not our lords but that we are theirs...

Though I won’t argue with you at all about the need for the 2nd Amendment, The only thing about this IRS scandal [proves to me is that this agency needs to be abolished and the tax code overhauled completely.

A simple mental litmus test that proves the IRS is a fully politicized entity that seeks to preserve its own existence is the high improbability of obtaining tax exempt status for an organization called “The Coalition to Abolish the IRS”.
