The Justice Department seized the telephone records of at least five Fox News reporters and several White House staffers in connection with the 2009 probe into a former State Department contractor who is accused of leaking classified information to Fox journalist James Rosen.
The disclosure came in a document filed in the case of the former contractor, Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, on October 13, 2011, The New Yorker reported today.

Scandal-shocked House Democrats fear for 2014

Democrats aiming to retake the House next year against all odds tried to reassure themselves after President Barack Obama’s week from hell: The election is still 18 months away, plenty of time for Republicans to turn today’s gift into tomorrow’s albatross.
Yet the anxiety within party ranks heading into a midterm already heavily stacked in the GOP’s favor is all too palpable.
“I think it really is a problem. I’m taken aback by it all,” said Democratic House candidate Jim Graves of Minnesota, adding that he intends to air his grievances with the White House during his campaign against GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann.
There is a culture throughout the Obama administration that reflects the idea that words like Patriot, Constitution, and God are a bad thing. That culture also depicts people who use such “code words” as enemies of the administration who need to be opposed, thwarted or eliminated at every opportunity. This culture is what the military calls Climate of Command and flows from the top downward. When too many subordinates go astray higher commands say “We have lost confidence in his ability to lead” ,and that commander is relieved. Well “We the People” (another IRS code word by the way) have lost confidence in Obama’s ability to lead. The only way we have to relieve him of command is to elect a Conservative House and Senate. In the meantime we need to keep the pressure on the few Conservatives we have in DC to stay the course and keep Boehner and McConnell on the righteous path.
So, Graves is campaigning for Michelle Bachman? Sweet!

Why would the DOJ, headed by Holder, seize anything right now?

You had a politician determining what is and what is not a news organization, and by and large, the press stood still and allowed that to happen. By the way, Sharyl Attkisson, a terrific reporter at CBS, is reporting she believes her personal commuter was compromised. We don’t know by whom, but it does suggest this story may grow a lot bigger before it ends.”
Jeepers, I wonder if the busy boy could have "pencil-whipped" official DOJ documents? Just so's he could harass and intimidate Fox and its media friends ASAP.
DEFINITION OF PENCIL WHIPPING To complete an official form, record, or document without having performed the implied work or without supporting data or evidence. Pencil whipping an official document incurs jailtime.
FOX NEWS AND ROSEN'S REPS should scrutinize all DOJ documents. If Holder or his minions pencil-whipped ---or otherwise falsified----official documents, that usually involves about 4-5 felonies...... and could include forgery.

Yes, yes, YES! The Dems will circle the wagons around Dear Leader but, when push comes to shove, they'll need to protect their own jobs. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, come 2014 they could be in quite a pickle.
