Right. As I said in my posting, he still subscribes to the policies of the Left, which negates any respect or gratitude I can extend to him.
If he came out and said “I was wrong. I believed all these things that the left believes, but I have come to see how corrosive and destructive they are...” I would be right by his side.

After watching him, I find him to be authentic, committed to the rights of US citizens not to be infringed and a person of immense courage and authenticity. That is enough.
His sacrifice for the American people is immense and valuable.
