Jay Leno continued his humorous attacks on Barack Obama Tuesday.
During a series of opening monologue jokes about the various scandals plaguing the White House, the NBC Tonight Show host said of quarterback Tim Tebow, “Now that he's associated with the word 'Patriot' he's being audited by the IRS” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):
JAY LENO: Some exciting news from the world of sports. Listen to this. It seems Tim Tebow has signed with the New England Patriots. How about that? Yeah. [Cheers and applause] Apparently, Tebow sat down and told Bill Belichick about his friend, Jesus, and Belichick told Tim about his friend, Satan, and they came to an agreement. They came to an agreement. [Applause]
Do you know about that, you know something? Nobody knew about this. This was a top secret deal. Nobody had any idea. The only people who knew were Bill Belichick, Tim Tebow, and of course the NSA because they were, you know, listening in. Sothey were the only ones.
So the good news, Tim Tebow got a job with the Patriots. The bad news: now that he's associated with the wold "Patriot" he's being audited by the IRS. Yeah, yeah, so, little tricky. Tightrope.

Sad that many will learn of the Obama scandals only from Leno rather than the MSM which ignores them.
Jay is on fire—Humor will spell the end of Obama and his Prog Pirates.
This is why Jon Stewart took the summer off. He’d be forced to try and keep up with Jay on the Obama-zinging.
His heart just was not in it.

Mock and ridicule. Our strongest weapon. Next to, the facts.
But I dont' think the low-information crowd listens to talk radio. They do watch late night talkshows so Leno now may be their only source for what Obama is doing.
And the Guardian UK.
It’s becoming more and more blatant.
The government is of the spirit of the anti-Christ.
The Guardian is probably even less popular with the LIV’s than conservative talk radio.

I sometimes get the feeling that Jay trolls FR for his punchlines.
Well what Jay Leno has done is in the tradition going all the way back to the early days of the “Tonight Show” with Jack Parr and Johnny Carlson when they lampooned the President.

I suppose. But Rush has used parody and mocked Dems and liberals for who knows how long, yet it seems to have little effect. I’ve always wondered why a J. Leno or Letterman slap in the face seems to have more impact than when Rush does it.
Strange to me because Rush’s ridicule is truly comical and really drives home the point of how ludicrous the left is.
Well comedy has more often then not, truth in it.
Yeah. Too bad it took Leno nearly that long to finally lampoon TIC (Tyrant In Chief).
Humor and ridicule is one of their favorite weapons. I’m glad it’s being used against the fascists in Washington.
Years ago a young pastor at my church tried out for the Patriots. One night a coach came in and found him reading his Bible in bed. The coach was immediately concerned about the pastor’s mental health. It seems a young man reading his Bible is a cause for concern in Boston. I will be praying for Tebow, he is going to be subject to a lot of ridicule in Boston.
