We can look at this in one of two ways. Maybe only 47 of the current 100 US Senators didn’t know enough about the NSA surveillance programs to consider themselves fully informed and satisfied that the intelligence community doesn’t cross the line when it comes to spying on Americans. Or, perhaps 53 of the current 100 US senators don’t really care whether the NSA is spying on Americans — at least not enough to put off plans for a long weekend:
Whats-it's-name sending weapons to al-Qaeda. Media and congress say,,,"who cares, that's a good thing!"
This NSA thing has no more legs than F&F, the AP snooping, Benghazi, or the IRS story,,,and whats-it's name knows it. Once again Mr. Teflon skates away without a scratch.

They don’t plan on doing anything.
Plus they are sworn to secrecy.

It’s looking more and more like Obama is going to get away with all this and continue on his merry way. IMO
Nothing to worry about- they are consistent in their choosing to be ignorant.
Is there a list of who attended and who didn’t?

When only 47 out of 100 Senators stick around for a hearing this important, that basically answers the question:
“How did we get in this situation?”
I want to know every one of the A$$hats who didn’t show. The people need to pound them with letters of condemnation

We allowed political office to become a career choice, not a patriotic calling. With big salaries, incredible perks, power and social prestige -- not to mention lifetime health care and cushy pensions -- politicians became beholden to lobbyists and re-election donors who want favors, not the citizens they're supposed to represent. Write all the letters and emails you want to the politician "representing" you. The only ones that get read are the ones promising big-time financial support.
