Worrying about ridiculous things like this when people are dropping like flies of late by gunfire.

In that case composting is even more important.

"The guy really is nuts. Why does he want to control every aspect of everyone’s life?"

In related news, Bloomberg has bought the old Wham-O factory in the Bronx, the one which used to make Hula-Hoops. He plans to begin manufacturing as soon as the equipment is refurbished.

The Mayor was quoted as saying, "One can NEVER have too many hoops for New Yorkers to jump through."

Aren't New Yorkers spending enough time sorting their trash already?
10 million people SAVING all their food scraps to put on the curb on a hot afternoon.
No health risk here. NYC already stinks.

No problem. Toss the garbage in the alley and let it rot.

You know what the funny thing is?

Garbage disposals are OUTLAWED in NYC because the garbage collectors’ union thought they would negatively impact their business.

Ah... government... is there anything it can’t do?

I’m sure that this will provide meaningful work for all the residents of his re-education camps.

“RATS the size of DOGS.....”

That’s just ridiculous.

The maggots will have the rats down to bones before they’re much bigger than a cat.

as much as i cant stand the ahole - composting food waste makes excellent sense - NYC has a huge waste problem and a primary source of NYC's rat problem is food/refuse related. Ive got no issue with composting -

That said - it shouldnt be mandated by govt, implemented by union hacks and paid for on the backs of joe citizen

Good Lord at the bacteria that will breed!! Do they disinfect the garbage cans for collection each time?

Super monster bacteria dead ahead.

Oh and rats bigger than your head.

I just made a composting rhyme.

Yeah, if they’d ALLOW disposers, they could put a digester in at the local water treatment plant and do it MUCH more efficiently,

AND they could use the natural gas (methane) produced in the digesting process to produce electricity to run the water treatment plant.

But NOOOOOO.... the garbage unions got the city gov’t to outlaw disposers.

Wheelie bins:
Grey, General waste.
Green, Mixed recycling.
Brown, Garden waste.
Dark green, Food waste.

What colours can you bring to the party? :)

He exactly represents the majority of New Yorkers. They're nuts, and they want to control every aspect of everyone's life especially us unenlightened peasants who live in fly over country.

Not insane. Just 100% liberal. Liberalism often is hard to distinguish from insanity.
