Imagine if the Dems held the House as well as the Senate. All of this would have been covered up.

How fortunate we are. Maybe, in spite of all of our sins God still is looking out for us?

Briefers will include ...

Lt. Colonel Gibson

Q: How did the personnel react to being told to ‘Stand Down’?

Hicks: They were furious. I can only say … well I will quote Lt. Colonel Gibson … he said this is the first time in my career that a diplomat has more balls than somebody in the military.

Don’t expect much more than boiler plate briefings and talking points from Ham and Losey. The best chance for some truth on the matter will come from LTC Gibson.

Yes since the briefing is "classified" we the public can expect to learn nothing of significance. The committee members will be sworn to secrecy and in any case have no taste for further controversy.

"(snip)...Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette was in command of the Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3), then deployed in Middle Eastern waters during the attack on Benghazi.

Both Ham and Gaouette reported receiving the same desperate cables for additional security and backup that Obama administration officials received and ignored from Benghazi. They did not ignore those desperate calls for help ringing out from the Benghazi installation on 11 September 2012.

No, both Ham and Gaouette attempted to launch ready response teams in the region capable of provided the much needed assistance during the seven hour long assault on Benghazi. Both were then relieved of command for their actions, described by the US Military as “allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.”...(snip)

BENGHAZI: WHERE ARE GEN. HAM AND ADM. GAOUETTE? We need Admiral Gaouette to come forward as well. Where is he I wonder? I will keep praying he will.

They had control in 2009 and 2010 and look what transpired...

-Pigford II
-Payola palooza (Stimulus)
-Green Energy loans to political allies
-GM secured bondholders stripped of their legal rights and control of the assets of GM turned over to the union allies
-Fast & Furious

“allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.”

Does the same apply for the Commander-in-Chief?

All of this would have been covered up.

Since Ham, Gibson and Losey will be testifying behind closed doors, it will continue to be.

Bottom line for me, regardless of what we are told about this hearing:

Obumbler’s administration says they could not get help to Bengazi in time to save Stevens.

Stevens call to them for help was equivalent to a civilian’s call to 911.

They were his 911.

What would we think of a 911 call that went like this:

“My house is on fire and the stress is causing me to have a heart attack. Please send the fire department and and EMC quick.”

And the reply was: “ It will all be over before we can get there so we are not sending anyone.”

Dereliction of duty if there ever was. At least everyone involved should be fired.

Gen. Ham: "No order to Protect Consulate" (Video-Rep.Chaffetz)

It is a little over 2 minutes long but at the 50 second mark Rep. Chaffetz talks about speaking with General Ham after the Benghazi attack. My hope is General Ham is able to tell the committee what he told Rep. Chaffetz. Marines were available to go and help in Benghazi but no order was given.

Remember - Recent testimony revealed that the special forces (C-110 - I think) in Croatia specifically trained for this type of mission were transferred to AFRICOM the night of the Benghazi attack. It seems that Gen. Ham was preparing them, command-wise, to deploy to Benghazi.

General Ham’s testimony is critical to finding out what happened that night.

Classified. I guess this is where they talk about why the CIA was there. Too bad the rest of us don’t get to hear the explanation.

It sucks being too stoo-pid for the government.

Make them talk in public.

This should not be behind closed doors. If the general must use classified info, THAT cam be taken behind closed doors, but it can't ALL be classified and we deserve to know exactly what happened and who and why.

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
