Immigration reform would cut deficit, analysis shows

About 8 million immigrants living unlawfully in the United States would initially gain legal status under sweeping legislation moving toward a vote in the Senate, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday, adding the bill would push federal deficits lower in each of the next two decades.
The eagerly awaited report by Congress' non-partisan scorekeeping agency said the legislation would increase federal spending in the form of benefits for those gaining legal status, but those expenses would be more than offset by a rise in the labor force, increasing revenues.

CBO initially scored Obamacare at $900 billion. Their report isn't worth a bucket of warm spit. Amnesty will break State and federal budgets.

Would they get retroactive Social Security benefits? Think about it. Many of the foreigners working illegally in this country are doing so by using fraudulent ID stolen from dead people and babies. If they get blanket amnesty, would they still be able to use that fraudulent ID to claim benefits for a job that they stole?

...but those expenses would be more than offset by a rise in the labor force, increasing revenues. What revenues is that? The taxes on beer and smokes? These low skilled, low wage types will all qualify for welfare and the Earned Income Tax Credit. In other words, the taxman will be paying THEM! Geez. This isn't rocket science.
