Maybe. More likely, it is “garbage in - garbage out.”
The CBO has been given numbers that assume that the illegals will automatically accept taxation of what they have been getting paid under the table and will pay back taxes on what they have earned.
We know how likely that really is.

Agree 100%! It drives me crazy when I hear people talk about the additional revenue in taxes these new citizens will be pumping into the coffers. Hell, 95% will be low wage earners who will not pay taxes but will get more back than they paid in through this earned income credit aka wealth distribution scheme the government has waiting for them. Not to mention the food stamps, welfare, etc their anchor babies will qualify for. What a total crock!

Yeah, sign up Central and South America for Obamacare—think how much we’d save. You just can’t make this stuff upp.

If anyone believes that I proffer for sale, at par value, shares in a stock company engaged in the construction of a suspension bridge linking the cities of Brooklyn and New York.

Hahahahahahahaha!
Oh, thanks, I needed a good laugh.
“Non-partisan” yurass.

the legislation would increase federal spending in the form of benefits for those gaining legal status, but those expenses would be more than offset by a rise in the labor force, increasing revenues. Total nonsense.

Will they swear to it, and forfeit all they own if they're wrong? That's what I want all those who are for this immigration reform to do.
