Declaring "the time for excuses is over," President Barack Obama is trumpeting the economic benefits of an immigration overhaul, arguing that a bipartisan bill picking up steam in the Senate would put the nation's loathed deficits and fragile entitlements on better footing.
A recent analysis from the Congressional Budget Office, lawmakers' nonpartisan scorekeeper, was Exhibit A in Obama's weekly radio and Internet address Saturday. The report shows deficits would fall nearly $1 trillion over two decades after the bill becomes law.

This is not about ideology or what is good for the country. This is all about quid pro quo. “So, I vote yes and my son becomes Ambassador to Belgium.” Or, “You give me say-so on 50 billion of spending.” Or, “I vote yes on this you vote yes on the Senator Belfry Memorial.”
Most of these people did not spend northward of $100 million in campaign money to do the public’s business. They invested in their future, not ours.

I believe we only have about 3-—maybe 4 Republican Senators.
The rest use the name Republican in their campaigns and vote with Democrats.
I give you the fact that only 4 of them refused to vote for John Kerry as Secretary of State. An atrocity.

Do you get the feeling that not enough white people vote the right way and they need replaced? The labor party in Britain admitted that’s why they imported so many “asians”.
Any FReeper could write an Immigration Bill and it wouldn’t contain more than two or three paragraphs! Just like there are only two or three politicians I can actually say I like.
Even if they did enforce the ‘tough’ provisions, they would be legalizing tens of millions of illegals (and creating an even bigger illegal draw to the US than before).
Those newly-legals would become citizens over time, no doubt, and pull in tens of millions more just like themselves through chain migration.
We’ve got to stop the quibbling over security or an immediately detailed path to citizenship as part of a massive amnesty. Instead, they should simply enforce the current laws, fund and build the fence previously legislated, institute the e-verify and visa overstay enforcement and yes, deport illegals rather than giving them driver’s licenses and IRS refunds.
Obama wants amnesty to pass so he can qualify to run as President — wait...that’s already happened.

The "loathed deficits" were CREATED by the "Entitlements", such as Obamaphones, EBT's, Food Stamps, Section 8 housing, and FORCED Mortgage loans to un-qualified Minority buyers.
Turn the question around, time for excuses on F&F, Benghazi, NSA spying, IRS targeting, targeting of journalists are over
