Johnny Isakson is voting FOR the Immigration bill! (vanity)

Posted on 06/24/2013 9:33:06 AM PDT by mikeus_maximus

He just a talk at our company before heading to Washington to vote FOR the bill. He says the amendment fixes the border enforcement problem, for the first time since the Reagan bill, and that opposition to the bill is based on misperception. He came by my table and conversed in Spanish with the Hispanic lady next to me. When he shook my hand I looked him in the eye and asked him if he read the bill he's about to vote for. He says he did, and the amendment too.

It's incredible to me that he can't see the Democrats end game and trusts them with funding border enforcement.

Lazamataz ~:” Isakson is an establishment Ruling-Elite bastard. He was planning on voting for the Gun Control bill too. Anything the Obama administration wants, he’s game for.”

Then primary him !

Can’t primary him until 2016.

Of course he can see it. The backstabbers don’t care.

"What in the F will they contribute other than crime, bearing more welfare illiterates, sucking our welfare dry and destroying our country?"

And that is the entire goal of " fundamentally transforming America".

It angers me to see folks say something ending in, “...fixed for the first time since Reagan’s Bill.”

The 1986 bill was not Reagan’s bill. He signed it when it came to his desk after folks lied to him on several counts.

That bill also put in place a strengthening of our border, if only the laws enacted had been enforced.

What will the new bill fix, if vast parts of it are not enforced? What’s more we know damn well those parts won’t be enforced.

Was the approved fence that appropriations were passed a few years back to pay for installed? No. Were businesses taken to task for hiring undocumented Democrats? No. Why will it be any different now? Well, it won’t be.

Trying to lay this off at Reagan’s feet is a massive misrepresentation.

Yes, we live in GA, also. I just received an email the other day from Isakson, who said he was NOT voting for the bill! I’m angry! They see us as fools. We’re new to the state, so we’ve never voted for either one. So glad that Chambliss is stepping down.

Isakson's Atlanta office just said they don't know how he'll vote (ha!) and that he's for *securing the border first* before any other legislation.

I told the staffer that there will be NO hiding behind this Corker Debacle...as it hands over border security to JNap. And, that this monstrosity ONLY protects unions, leftist groups and provides cheap labor for corporations...that's why the Chamber of Commerce supports it.

I also mentioned that ANYONE voting FOR this amendment or Bill is voting AGAINST America and American workers.

FWIW!

Chmabliss would stand no chance which is why he won’t seek re-election...as will Johnny.

I guess Isaksonofabitch must be planning on retiring; if not he'd best start!

I called his this morning and his staff indicated they were reviewing the bill and he had not decided yet.

If you info is true, and I’m not saying it’s not, then he lied to me.

I’m inclined to believe you though.

If he does vote for it, he’s not going back in.

I will say it for the thousandth time-I truly believe that the GOP has been purposely infiltrated by the left for the purpose of destroying the opposition. It makes perfect sense, because it’s their modus operandi, it’s exactly how they’ve destroyed or are destroying every other American institution, most recently the military and the Christian-In-Name church. They began with academia and the media, which they’ve had a lock on now for decades. It’s how they work, like termites. How many of these “Republican” politicians have either no track record, or a track record of being “moderate” or “centrist” in the past? All they have to do is stay slightly to the right of the left, moving when the left moves.

You are right, the Republican party is dead, it’s been destroyed like an old wooden house in New Orleans by Formosan termites.

I am so sorry they are doing this to all of us. My friend in Ga., has been calling too and he cannot get them to answer. They have low approval ratings. In the 20’s maybe or could it be less. They just do not care about us on the outside though, we are all are the heart of America. Not the illegals who are breaking the law while being rewarded.

Here we go again. History repeats. Reagan, amnesty, and the border fence.. The Sequel. Amnesty wins, but the fence remains incomplete.
