It would be poetic justice. Plenty of House bills went nowhere in the Senate.

Let Chuck U threaten demonstrations. They're going to be in states with the illegals which are mostly already controlled by rats.

It depends on whether Boehner wants to keep his job. Drat!

It can only be hoped that Boehner has the defining moment of courage in his career and stops this abomination.

Rubio, Oh Rubio,

Why have you crossed that line?

The only pathway is back to your home country.

Then you get in line.

I’m sure Amnesty will die: just like Obamacare. :)

They won’t consider the Senate Bill, but that doesn’t mean they won’t come up with one of their own. That would spell doom if they pass any kind of immigration bill, no matter how good it is.

The problem is: Jack Kingston is not in the House leadership. And he is just 1 of 435 members, if Boehner, as expected, drops the Hastert rule for post-conference immigration bill vote.

The pink tie, crybaby must be made to understand, without question, that the survival of the Republican Party depends on this issue. Not down the road but now.

If he puts through a bill that has "a pathway to citizenship" or legalization of status for illegals the base will leave the party.

I, and I believe most FReepers are more concerned with the survival of the Republic than the Republican Party.

I say we mount a huge campaign and POUND on Boehner ... maybe he’ll quit under pressure. This would throw the whole immigration thing into complete chaos. No legislative action until a new speaker gets settled in. And work to get a new speaker who will listen to conservatives

It doesn’t matter if the House doesn’t consider the Senate version.

The end game for amnesty proponents is to have the House pass something (anything) and then have House and Senate-appointed conferees hammer out something in conference committee behind closed doors between the House and Senate and then pass the compromise in both chambers.

It’s very important that nothing passes the House or the genie’s out of the bottle.
