” On any real issues unresolved like amnesty he works with them(Dems) to get them victory,

I hate this deceitful sc...bag. “

Just a self-loathing faggot/traitor

“Government NEVER should have been involved in it one way or the other”

So you’re ok with the government not prosecuting for bigamy?

Graham is wrong. the Federal government has the obligation to preserve marriage as one man and one woman.

“There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution”

Every single colony established laws prior to the constitution protecting the English Common law definition of Marriage. One man and one woman.

It has always been the law of the land in America that marriage is one mand and one woman.

Not everything is in the constitution, some of the bedrock principles predate the constitution.

It’s a bad option, IMHO. What it would mean is that Catholics would no longer recognise baptist marriages, etc.

It may turn out that way when all the protestants go ghey, but we are not at that point yet.

Yes, no argument there, or against English Common Law definition of marriage.

The point is that the Constitution specifically details what the federal government has juristiction over and marriage is not detailed in the Constitution at all. Because it is not mentioned, those laws which were carried over from the colonies to the states remain with the states and in their juristiction. The federal government has no juristiction over marriage laws which is why Graham is a complete idiot for making his statement.

Well, I definitely see good and bad points on both sides of the argument. It’s not like accepting birth control within marriage or priestesses where there is an actual split between liberals and conservatives and you know what side wants what. You have conservative Catholics who see merit in the idea and conservative Catholics who do not.

“It may turn out that way when all the protestants go ghey, but we are not at that point yet.”

All the Protestant groups are never going to accept ‘gay marriage.’ Some have, some will eventually, others will never accept it in my opinion.

Freegards
