GLAAD, the organization dedicated to defending the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, acted swiftly after learning of Alec Baldwin's latest homophobic rant.
The group allowed Baldwin to use its web site to apologize and/or attempt damage control, essentially shouting, "you're already forgiven."

But if you confess to “using N-word while conservative” 20 years ago, a grovelling apology just makes it worse. I had no idea about Paula Deen’s political leanings, but now I assume she did not contribute sufficiently to the Democrats.

Paula Deen is a liberal who supported Obama. However, she is: middle aged female; Southern; overweight; and said Michelle Obama ate more on her show than any other guest, she even ate during commercials.

How does calling someone a queen = a homophobic rant? If I refer to Shepard Smith as a queen, it’s not because I’m afraid of him; it’s because I think he’s gay.
I think the “homophobic” card has been overused just like the race card.
A phobia is an unwarranted FEAR of something. I’ve never known anyone who feared the gays; just thousands who can’t tolerate them and their lifestyles
