Already did it.

Here’s his response:

Mr. Gaffer
123 Gaffer Road South
Gafferville, GA

Dear Mr. Gaffer:

Thank you for contacting me in opposition to the Senate immigration bill. I appreciate your input, and welcome the opportunity to respond.

To begin, you can count on my opposition to the Senate immigration bill. I do not support any legislative body passing an almost 900 page bill that has not been read, evaluated, examined, or reviewed for all possible consequences of implementation. Georgians are already feeling the devastating consequences of this approach through the passage and implementation of Obamacare. I am appalled that Senate Democrats, and even Republicans, would put American taxpayers at risk yet again. You may be interested to learn that the House Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over immigration policy and of which I am a member, has chosen to approach immigration reform by reviewing every aspect in fine detail.

As an original co-sponsor of the SAFE Act, I believe Congress’ first priority in immigration reform should be securing our borders in the interest of national security. I will only support legislation that significantly enhances our border security and enforcement mechanisms – and the SAFE Act does just that. By granting states and localities the authority to enforce federal immigration laws, those who pose a national security risk will have greater difficulty entering and remaining in the U.S. The SAFE Act also improves visa security, protects American communities from dangerous criminals, and equips our immigration enforcement officers with the resources needed to better do their jobs.

I will not support any legislation that grants mass amnesty for illegal immigrants. Rewarding those who have broken our nation’s laws is just another example of where the Senate immigration bill fails. As one of the most generous legal immigration systems in the world, the United States admits more than one million legal immigrants each year. Those who desire to make the U.S. their home must comply with our laws, starting with entering our nation through legal channels. Unlike my Senate counterparts, I will continue fighting against mass amnesty and ensure that taxpayer-funded programs only go to those for whom they were designed.

Immigration reform is a vast matter of vital importance to America’s families, communities, and businesses, so Congress needs to take the time to get it right. I will keep your thoughts in mind as I continue working with my colleagues to promote legislation that secures our borders, deters illegal immigration, and removes criminal illegal immigrants from our communities.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please continue keeping me informed of the issues that matter to you.

Sincerely,

Doug Collins
Member of Congress

Only chance to stop the Amnesty bill is for the House not to consider any immigration related bill at all.

Michelle Bachman explained it. ANY House bill no matter if it promises all the border security in the world will be a trojan horse.NO bill at all must come out of the House because it will be merged with the Senate Amnesty and trojan horse bill. Call congress.

Tell them to stop all Amnesty or immigration bills.they are all trojan horse bills. some will promise border security that will never be enforced anyway.

Bachmann explained it . The House will write a border security bill only . then in conference the senate will add the virus and then bring it back to the house. then the conservatives won’t vote for it but democrats will all vote for it so then they only need 10% of republicans to pass Amnesty and the virus that will destroy America. so any bill at all will be added the virus . so best thing is for Boner to not let any immigration bill at all come out of the House. that is the only hope . call boner and the members of the House.

Tom Tancredo echos what Michelle Bachmann said.

call congress . no bill at all from the House

and of course boner must not bring the Senate bill for the House to vote on. no senate bill, no border security bill from the House .nothing.
