I love Rudy Giuliani, but he’s had 3 wives. His first marriage was to a woman who was actually his second cousin or something like that. I forget what happened to her and their marriage (they had no children). I mean I say 3 because I assume he is not married to Judith Nathan (that’s her name, right?), but perhaps they never did get married. So if I’ve told you something you already knew, I apologize.
Your points are well taken and I might add/ask, didn’t Spitzer actually prosecute men for the same crimes he was committing?
Too bad they don’t like each other, as if they teamed up it would be :

Sex addicts have power and control issues. The fact that these sleazeballs cannot let go of political power suggests their sex addictions and other demons may remain.

He is hurting a relatively small number of people in his own family. They seem to be stuck on enabling. Perhaps because of her connections with Islam, Huma doesn’t get it—she is NOT chattel! She is a separate person! Weiner doesn’t own her. Her support of him during all this behavior reeks of a woman wearing the veil who ranks below the camels & goats in the Bedouin desert.
This putz wants to be in charge of over 3 million as Mayor of NYC.
The damage he could do there is enormous.
IF he cannot make adult decisions regarding his body parts-—why would the citizens of NYC want him to be in charge of the city?
He is a worthless POS. By now, I would have thought the Democrat machine in New York would have made him disappear. He is spreading his bad reputation on them, also.
Legalisms — Carlos Danger is not guilty of adultery (extramarital intercourse) perhaps, but he certainly is guilty of marital infidelity (unfaithfulness). Politicians, professionals, clergy, other public figures should be held to high standards. Mr. Danger is just as much a reprobate as the rest.
Apologies, yes, three wives for Rudy, vice two. Had neglected his first marriage to his second cousin. NYC is a strange place.
I don’t now if Spitzer ever prosecuted anyone for breaking the laws against prostitution, but perhaps on some wire transfer crimes. He was a super aggressive prosecutor and someone posted the other day that if he were to be elected comptroller of NYC he’d probably use that position to continue his vendetta against Wall Street. So, on top of all his other failings it would be like hiring the butcher to tend the golden goose.
I know you’re not supposed to pimp your blog here, but I did write a post about this and it has a lot of links that I think give the background pretty well.
Anyway, here’s the link and forgive me if this is a great faux pas.
But you know, I wrote that whole thing and never until today did I think about how Sanford and Spitzer both really committed adultery while Weiner has not. But you know, it’s their failing their public obligations that really tick me off.
Splitzer must really be a horse's ass if his zillionare NY real estate mogel father won't give him a job. Even the big shots need someone to clean toilets and empty garbage. Apparently, Elliot couldn't even do that competently.

My son in college decided to run for the Student Senate. He and his best friend in the College of Electrical Engineering decided to have a smear campaign between them.
Each would put up smear posters against the others and some were downright funny (e.g., picture of a dumptruck and the words “A vote for XXXX is like taking a...”). The student populace grew to anticipate the next smear poster.
Finally, the Chinese student also running complained to the Student Senate of what the two were doing saying it was unfair....
In the end, both my son and the other guy won seats.
I could care less about either of these a-holes. It is kind of comforting to see New York City get the kind of government it deserves though.
How odd. I swear I read she divorced him already. Or maybe it was the guy that had the gay affairs? I guess I’m confused.

Although I do not defend drug use, I will slightly come to Rush’s defense here. He had very painful back surgery and was given prescribed serious painkillers. Unfortunately, he got hooked on a prescription drug. Yes, he should have sought help earlier for his dependency.
