he’s probably going to announce that radio stations picked him up after the lib media announced happily that he and Hannity got “fired’ or some liberal crap..

Greta, are you listening to FR tonight?

If so, tell Rush that people here think he is losing his touch. He is off his game. They are worried. They are concerned that all this boycott and cancellation stuff is taking it’s toll.

Ask him about it.

Tell him to snap out of it - we have an election coming up.

I think he and Hannity are both jumping ship to another here soon...Read something about that today...but didn’t get into it....I don’t think Rush is worried....nor Hannity....they have a new deal coming perhaps.

Rush's staff monitors the daily FR show thread. I know this because he answered a question (actually a joke) I posed in one of the threads.

Hope you are right. If so, this thread should get their attention.

All of the hosts have made a mistake endorsing Cheney in the race against Enzi. They both suck.

This being said, I agree Rush has to up his game. Less low-information voter news. I get enough of that crap on Fox. I want to hear his political commentary.

Well it is certainly true that people, probably like you, and certainly like me, who spend more time than they should on FR know the facts. We've read the news.

You are right about wanting political commentary. We want to know the implications of those facts. What today's news means going forward. Rush can be good at that. Lately he hasn't been.

Greta is feisty and seems to be growing more conservative than I remember her back when she was doing the OJ trial and first started with CNN.

She appears to have a great rapport with Rush. A full hour show will be a treat. I haven't watched Fox much since the election, but I'll be tuning in for this.

Today heard both Rush and SH shows. Rush will still be around and on air. Amen and Hallelujah. Will he be in a fighting mood? We can only hope.

SH hinted that his news will be forthcoming soon. He is really really really excited about it and it will be big. At the moment that is all he can share but as soon as he is able we will be the first to know with the news coming from his own lips. Something is about to break but do believe the listeners will not be denied the ability to feed our habit.

Go to Zero Hedge blog, and ask a few of those high school questions from early 1900's he posted today. Then suggest a passing grade necessary to: get credit, a license to drive, vote, and receive govt. benefits. THat will drive the left insane!

We love Rush, but for years now he has been making fun of those who criticize his absences/vacations with lines like,

“Rush, Rush, stick to the issues, stick to politics!” or,

“OK Rush, hope you had fun on your latest vacation, smoking expensive cigars and playing golf with your rich PALS!!!”

Yes, yes, I go “Arghhhhh!!!” every time some guest host chimes in that Rush is off doing thus & such but he’ll be back in the sweet bye & bye. Now, it’s “Good news, folks! Rush will be back next week FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!!”

O MahaRushi, you have a duty to your faithful listeners! Are weekends and holidays too much to ask, as well?

;^)

Rush isn’t losing his edge, the country is. There isn’t much inspiring material out there these days to work with. I’d rather listen to Rush talk golf and football then listen to 3 hours of Obama chat. And Republicans are ignoring the voters or brownnosing. It’s not Rush making us weary.

Rush is still Rush and there is nothing better out there. The show has been good lately. Honestly, conservatives need to learn not to poop where they eat.

With what I’ve been hearing lately, I get the feeling Rush may be an important element of the 2016 election, somehow. We are coming to a clash of RINOs, Libertarians, Tea Party and Fed Ups.

***
I was never much of a fan. Now that I am retired, thus not in the car much, I rarely listen to him. I have to assume, though, from the tidbits I do hear, that he is trying to appeal to the low-information voter. Why else does he beat each issue to death? I don’t need to hear it repeated over and over to get his point.

Thanks for the heads up reminder, although I did hear Greta last nite. Who has a snail mailing address to Rush since he left NY?

I sent a letter to what I though was his FL address and it was returned....or his email address? I never get replies or acknowlegement from either one that I had. I sent him a book once and wanted to know if he recieved it

I tend to agree with you on her typical support ofr women. But, she went pretty hard on Elizabeth Warren claiming to be an Indian. Lately, she has been very pointed in her comments about Benghazi. I don’t think Hillary can snow her on that one.

I thought Rush's interview tonight was excellent. He said a lot of stuff we regular listeners have mostly heard before, but it was nice to hear him focused on the important issues of the day in a neat, one-hour package. Greta asked good questions, but she didn't interrupt, the way O'Reilly and Hannity always do. She let Rush speak for most of the full hour.

By Rush's egotism, if you mean, ie: "talent on loan from God", etc., that's all very tongue-in-cheek on Rush's part. Overall I've never found Rush to be egotistical at all... it's mostly an act.

Okay, thanks for that info. There is hope for Greta, then. Of course, if she starts digging too deep into anything damaging to the Saudis or to Obamugabe, Fox will make her back off.

Yes, I must admit that, for the most part, it was a good interview. Nothing surprising but well stated. I watched almost all of it — up to the commercial break before he was to talk about the Zimmerman verdict.

Greta, IMO, is one of the very best interviewers. She does have a tendency to beat an issue to death, but I always chalk that up to her lawyerly way of thinking. She did not interrupt Rush, even when he went on and on.

Re your:

Two of my sisters, who are huge fans, say the same thing. But it just grates on my nerves. The “talent on loan from God” schtick I can chalk up to being an act, but I hear the egotism creep in much too frequently, and I don’t listen much at all.

But I do love it when Mark Steyn sits in.

It was very good. It’s amazing how the media paints Rush into some kind of mean creep. He’s still the one and only Rush.
