The 100 Most Popular Conservative Websites For 2013

These websites were ranked using Alexa. The number beside of each website represents its overall rank on the Internet.

It looks like FR is ranked 17th on this list, but after looking at the sites ranked ahead of FR it appears that FR is the highest ranked Conservative Discussion Board. Those outranking FR are all news outlets!

I thought you would like to get this ping!

Of "The Five", only Eric Bolling and Andrea Tantaros can be said to be a legit "Conservative." The others to various degrees (other than Beckel AND Bush sweetheart, Dana Perino, who is a Statist and social lib.)

Hannity IS more popular than given credit for; NOT as conservative as I'd like, BUT...miles ahead of fence-sitter, non-conservative and political mercenary, the fake, phony, fraud Bill "for-the-folks" O'Blowhard.

IMO his time-slot and moderate political views gives him a huge advantage in ratings.

Otherwise, who is a real "conservative" at FOX other than Laura Ingraham and Monica Crowley?

Some people I know say that Greta is a conservative, but I see her more in the Geraldo-Rivera, opportunist, drive-by journalism vein than truly anything else.

With all due respect, Greta appears to be far more intellectual honest, though at times wrong; Geraldo is a complete and utter fraud, liar, Machiavellian, and definition of narcissist AND opportunist.

I have some problems with this list.

IBD is light years more conservative than the WSJ.
Drudge Report is not a news site. He publishes headlines.

For that matter, FR isn’t a news site either. We republish and comment on existing news. But we have more fun than all the other sites combined!

Alexa lists sites by hit popularity. AFAIK, Alexa is completely non-partisan. They just count hits, that's all.

So who decided which web site would be included in this list? Alexa has some predefined categories, but conservative is not one of them. Did John Hawkins, author of the article, decide who would be on the list? If so, was he fair? How do we know?

Along with some other posters, I don't care what Alexa says, FR is number one in my book.

I don’t pay attention to either of them. Greta’s on far too late for my taste, and Geraldo is a piece of crap has-been.

I will agree that Greta at least tries to be a journalist, but she’s most certainly wrong more than she’s right when it comes to conservative values.

I see O’Reilly as a northeast Republican. He’s not a big-C Conservative, he’s a “big tent” Republican.

The man taught history for a few years in south Florida, and he studied it at Marist in the early 70s. Like Gingrich, I believe he understands where we’ve been and that overlooking historical connections is a regular and grave societal miscalculation, but I do firmly believe that his loyalties lie in his ratings and his income over adherence to historical truth or doctrine. He’ll often overlook historical connections to make a point or to push an agenda, and for that, I believe him to be dishonest.
